What would be better for a trap copier?
Popular quad hunterfly mg.
Triple hunterfly elemental sword.
Is there a size penality on traps?
Does wep dmg affect traps?
Would elemental sword process with traps?
Leave your opinions!

Assuming you're talking about leveling with fire trap (as most rangers & some chasers do), quad hunterfly weapons are the best choice if you don't want to be burning through potions like a madman.
As for damage and reduction, check here: http://irowiki.org/wiki/Fire_Trap

The atk portion of traps is negligible compared to the total damage, so you won't notice a huge damage increase with whichever weapon you chose. You might however, notice a short but annoying cast delay after your elemental sword bolts trigger, which will stop you from using skills, traps included... I would rather a plain hunterfly MG.

But it adds int and matk.
And be fun?!?

Then use whichever you find more fun to wear/ok. Sometimes RO is a game and whichever is the most fun for you to wear, is the best to use for you
(as long as you are oki with spending more supplies or time). I'm currently leveling a purely reflect/autocast HP, which spends like 3000 fresh fish every ten minutes, it's fun to play with, but if someone asked me which was more effective, I would recommend making a standard FS or ME priest.

1) Int & Matk are irrelevant with Ranger traps.
2) I'd go with leveling speed & efficiency any day, bolt delays slowing me down would be annoying.

Irowiki. Most of the damage comes from dex. A little of it comes from int, but not enough for it to matter much.i don't know where did you get this

Each point of int ends up adding 5 damage to the end of Fire Trap. Unless you're getting +200 int somewhere, int will not make any difference.
Also, you cannot proc a skill off of another skill. 3x HF Elemental sword would be completely worthless. Auto bolts from accidental attacks will put you in delay, meaning you'll die in a mob. If you're using the auto bolts for Shadow Spell, the hunter fly cards in it will restore something like 30 hp from your normal attacks. For a RG reflect leveling, same as above, where every 30th reflect may restore up to 100 hp, while you just lost 5-10k hp.
Quad malicious main gauche. That's all there is too it. 99% of the damage simply comes from DEX and base levels. Things like attack, weapon attack, upgrade, etc are negligible.
