I don't exactly like the way eden merit badges are going, i liked it more when they were only obtainable via turnins. That gave them their true value, they showed one did some work and time to get them. Anyways, it's just my opinion, i don't mind the change if you guys think it's better that way.

As for the update in short: i love it! Complainers are gonna complain, no matter what. For those who say slot machine is worthless: wake up people, you are getting items for free! If they are crap, then don't use the machine, and go hunt for other items! Honestly, is there a way to make you all satisfied?

Those who wanna quit: bye, you're going to be missed. I hope somehow we'll manage it without you.

Give us more ways to get Eden Merit Badges for the off weeks of turnins cause you kinda screwed over the 135-150 range from getting eden merit badges to even make this a good week to test out the changes.

If the summoner will stay as now with Eden Merit Badge, this is a way to make me quit. Since I don't take TI often for the work, when I will finish my pocket watch collection, I will have
finished with RO.

I would prefer Eden Merit Badge in Kafra shop or a free summon for vip + one more with Eden Merit Badge.
We need of more ways to have the Merit Badge, not involving MVPs only drop.

There are other persons that I know that are ready to quit if the actual modify will stay.

Seconded. Maybe it is just for giving those select people with loud mouths more leverage in deciding the patch changes and influencing Mods. Specifically by threatening to stop playing the game with a group of people.

i love the eden merit badge idea only thing that bugs me why 2 badges for gtb? the card has lost its uses other then manhole make gtb 1 badge and make hibram 2, and so that ppl dont feel like their items are going to waste allow the the previous items to be also used.

sounds like fun, pity I converted all my merit badges into reset stones last week

GTB isnt that bad, since you get two (minor) chances to get EMB directly via equips as well as the ora ora. actually no wait ora ora is no longer a turn-in.

Still, when you compare it to before:

8% chance to get ora ora regardless of VIP/gum per kill

To now:

11.29% chance for golden gear + 6.8% chance for gold mace

Its actually easier to get GTB summons now than it used to be. not to mention the cartfuls of golden gear/maces out there for people who dont throw away anything and do ET lots.

I have to say, I was actually excited for these patch notes, until you crossed off tiger footskins, and now my 44 lay in storage collecting dust. To legit players who actually take the time to hunt mvps, this is quite saddening, I couldn't use them to summon so they just kept piling up, out of all the eddga's i've killed those are pretty much the only thing that ever dropped. I have 44 footskins, 11 tiger skins, 2 fireblends, and 0 cards from eddga. =( I am quite the sad panda right now.

Seems an odd choice. Doubt it'll be worth it.. How much are the spawns increased?

EDIT: a 1.5-2x exp event would be amazing btw. would probably make this maint the best one in many years if you do it..

Must say I really dislike the revamp on spooky machine.

You kept the darn badges a +7 prize, up'd the foods to +6, got rid of certs. These are all the negative things imho.

Only somewhat decent thing is the Blue Herbs for +4.

My results on last weeks machine were as follows

126 attempts.

+4 Pots - 6 (54) 43%
+5 Foods - 3 (35) 28%
+6 Certs - 5 (24) 19%
+7 Badges - 3 (11) 8.4%
+8 BMX3's - 1 (2) 1.5%

Now wouldn't have minded getting 35*5 = 175 Medals IF they are tradeable (Would really suck if they were acct bound), but losing my certs to crappy untradeable foods SUCKS!!!

Must say that this is a poor change around. 1 semi decent thing ruined by 2-3 loads of garbage.

man accept it as the machine is nerfed.

having too many and too easy safe +7 is just as bad and spoiled as having couple of 2xEXP event every month.

honestly i think the previous reward is over-generous and will negatively affects game balance.
