What is the formula for Acid Bomb (Acid Demonstration)I keep finding different versions of the formula and its almost as if no one knows, Any helps is greatly appreciated.


I belive that the formula is something similar to Soul Destroyer formula, with a % of damage based on ATK and other % based on user INT and other % based on target VIT, elemental only afect ATK damage and as we could see form the last test %ATK should be lower than %INT+%VIT

+9 KVM Mace 28.1k
+9 KVM Mace with Fire Endow 29.2k


i belive that INT and target VIT are the major status for final damage.


@isn't that much usefull but hope it helps

medal of honor increases ab dmg by 5%, set 10%... doesnt affect cc
glorious ring reduces cc cast time by 5% of whatever you have left... doesnt affect ab cast

glorious ring is good for dmg reduction from elements but thats about it

Hey guys, was wondering if its a good idea to card my +7HF with an AK card atm. Unsure if It'll screw up the resell value. :bang: Mvp based gene btw

(Also, can someone give me a PC> for the ak card? I cant seem to get any buyers around the 150-170mil range :thumb: )

Guide needs to be remade,a lot of of inaccurate info here. Especially due to balance patch. Also, frequent references to Mjolnir need to be removed. Anyone pro enough to have access to a mjol does not need a guide. Anyone who needs this guide is not pro enough to use a god item.

1str = 1?.5 atk

Str is 1 atk and +0.5% WepAtk, so if you have a 332 ATK weapon (+0 Hurricane Fury) 1 str adds 2.66 atk

im thinking if i should 120 my INT oR 120 my STR idk which is better , i want max damage acid bomb, which should i 120 ?int or str?

Neither; stat points above 110 are a gross waste. My Gene has 105+X INT and 90+X STR and my acid bomb is quite good. If you want to do 100 STR/110 INT that is fine too, you'll be a little bit stronger than me, but you'll suffer either DEX or VIT.

Best Weapons (Ordered by Damage Output assuming +12 and Optimized Carding):

Blue Naught Sword
Red Naught Sword
Mjolnir
Elemental Sword
Hurricane Fury
Diligent Axe (if base STR is 96+)
Glorious Morning Star (if target is Demi-Human)

For leveling purposes, what cards and why? Malicious vs Skel Archer vs Zipper in which weapon and for what reasons~

Whats the difference between Blue Twin and Red Twin for Gene purposes?


I'll address this backwards. For Red and Blue, you typically always want to use Red. They have the same effect, but the red has slightly more ATK and fire element. Which could be useful as a default element in places like Scaraba.

Malicious is great for soloing/duoing and/or hunting. Very broad. Typically you want it in something with a lot of slots like the Red Twin.

If your in a large/TI party, hopefully your priests are good enough to do simple things like AoE Buff and use the party window to heal, then you want straight DPS. Hurricane Fury would be the best option. Appearently, AS is the best card for that now since it increases CC damage (speculation on my part from readings on the forums, I've stopped actively playing). If you're only leveling method is TI's I suggest the Hurricane Fury.

Zipper Bear seems to have less benefit now since the change to AS. Just remember to use endow scrolls to make sure you always have the advantage.

tl;dr: malicious red sword for sustainning yourself and as hurricane fury for dps

Here's something to add to the guide though it applies to ALL 3-1 classes:

At 99/70 - do not go change job yet!
-Grab all the lv 91-99 Board quests in Eden 2nd Floor - (Skip those you don't want to bother with, like Neraid and Shinobi perhaps)
-Kill the amount required but do not finish the quests yet
-Go change job
-Active manuals you have (suggested: BMX3 & Job Manual)
-Turn in all the 91-99 board quests once you are Genetic~

If you used the manuals I mentioned, you will gain 12 job levels by turning ALL 16 quests in - and probably 1 or 2 levels too. (Thats with VIP, so a bit less without VIP, much less without BMX3 & Job Manual)

If you're gonna turn them all in for job levels with a manual after you turn Geneticist, you should just postpone killing those monsters until after you turn Geneticist, so you can get some job levels (job 4 or 5 I think you end up?) while you hunt, which should prevent any overflow EXP.

You can keep doing the eden 91-99 board quest as long as your level 99, you just need to loose the base exp by dying to prevent yourself from leveling up to 100. But i think this info is irrelevant to the topic.

Geneticists need to be Job Level 16 before they can shine at their highest potential with Cart Cannon (Gen. Cart Boost is incredible and Cart Remodeling is a necessity), so every little bit helps.

Don't forget to take 91~99 Board Quest again after changed to Genetic (Do not hit any monster if your exp on 99 gen is over 100%++). It gives AWESOME Job EXP level with BMx3 + Job Manual.

What does the Ring of the Flame Lord do for the Genetic? Don't you primarily spam skills - which means no triggering of the Ring's Autocasts? o:

I've the following ready for when I turn Genetic:

+9 RWH (clean)
+11 Kingbird Hurricane Fury
+11 Immune Heroic Backpack
Variant Shoes (Or go with Shackles + BSB?)
Ring of Flame Lord

Working on getting a Black Devils Mask and Pirate Dagger
Working on finding an Orlean's Gown (Porcellio card ?)
Not sure what other Accessory to get - maybe the vespers.

My end goal is MVP so which of those items will I be keeping to MVP? O: What else will I need to MVP?
