The damage of double shot drops down to 30% after a few hits in pvp, same thing happens with aas.Is this normal for every class that after a while, your damage goes down? I'm not very familiar with PvP... but I tried today and I realized that my first few shots were powerful but after that they were about halved... I was fighting against a sorcerer and I don't think they have skills that boost their defenses after a couple hits o.o

If you want to deal more damage than you do with pure x-spam, try this combo: Lightning Magnet-->Wraith of Heaven-->Spark Rock-->Rain of Fire-->Barbarian-->X-spam (only works well if Barbarian freeze is successful). You can throw a Quagmire in there somewhere after the Spark Rock, too, to make it easier to set up follow-up combos. And if you get lucky with the Barbarian and you have enough Awakening charged up, you can actually throw down another magnet before the freeze wears off.
But keep in mind, the more opponents you catch with magnet, the more troublesome it's going to be to keep the combo going since they'll all be spamming skills to try to disrupt you. That's the main purpose of Wraith in the combo -- it stuns everyone in the magnet just long enough for you to toss out a Spark Rock, which will prevent *most* (but not all) counterattacks as you continue the combo. Unfortunately, sorcerers are especially hard to lock with this combo b/c they can use Fire Symbol (+Ice Shot) and Blizzard even when they're being shocked by Spark Rock. My advice, when dealing with a sorcerer, is to try to frog or magnet them and then leave them stuck there while you go help your teammates try to take down the other opponents. It works kind of like a power play in hockey.
Mind you, the combo alone won't be enough for you to deal massive damage. For that, you're going to need to stack a ton of CD (we're talking 600%+) and some CR so it kicks in every now and then. Oh, and a well-enchanted weapon helps, too (+15 and above). Of course, it all depends on your opponent's defense, as well.

And I find the magnet a unique skill and its actually pretty cool... oh btw do you think its worth maxing staff mastery~ does it gives 35% magic attack like it says it does, or is that base matk-? I feel like it would better than focus cuz its passive and doesn't cost as many skill points...

Thanks for the advice. I kinda love to shoot my fireballs so I +15'd my weapon and now I'm sad cuz I can't x-spam lols... so I guess perfect seal really is useless and now I gotta go buy meself a skill reset >.<

Magnet and Wraith kind of go hand-in-hand in many ways -- I honestly wouldn't recommend trying to play an offensive invoker without them.
Staff Mastery only amplifies base MATK, so it's really not worth it.

As for CD, my highest recorded so far is 790% (not including option expansions) on my invoker, but that's missing some CD that I could get. I believe I calculated the maximum at around 820-830% for the class, currently.
