How is it punishment that the in-betweens are left behind? Its just more motivation for them to grind into range... seems kinda silly to be actually punishing those who have gotten to the proper ranges the past week to accommodate for this week's TI's.... If they really wanted to take advantage of the 2x exp they would grind up to range with the incentive of joining in on the double Turn-in EXP

It's really not that hard to stay in TI range each week until you get past 140

i've found it incredibly easy to make sure my characters always stayed in range of the current/upcoming ti. that sometimes meant i had to do all job exp to stay in the lower tier until the following week when i would spam all base exp. (sucks to be non vip). this past week, that also meant i had to tax myself 50% to make sure i didn't go past 140 with the regular exp from hunting and killing monsters for kill count. the whiners that don't know how to apply simple math calculations to figure this out shouldn't ruin it for everyone else.

I could see 141-150s complaining if it was their off week, since after that level there's nothing you can do, but that doesn't apply this week. And outside of that it's not too hard to stay in range. I was kicked out of range once, so I grinded normally(holy ) a couple levels to get in range. Also had to BM a bit one week to make sure I could make the next one, but I knew I would have to do that. Planning ahead isn't that hard.

Edit: Actually thinking about it, for non-VIPs who can't pick to go all base or all job the weeks they need to, I can see how it could be frustrating.

Should just make 2x exp 2 weeks so both sets get to use it. Then you can add the 2x exp for the turn ins. Was kinda looking forward to it. Now not so much.

probably the same low levels who don't bother leveling and think they should have their levels handed to them on a silver platter. I have played IRO less than 3 months and already have one character close to level 150 when i had people who in the begining when i first started playing IRO told me it would take me 6 months to reach level 150. If a person wants to be in range of the turnins for a 2x event for the 135-150range then they should do the work. This is the first time a 2x XP event has fallen on a 135-150 turnin week. all previous 2x events have fallen on the weeks of the turnins for the low levels so why not show the 135-150 some love for once.

Also. Thank you for favour grinding a little. Grinding on a 2x exp event [on a turnin map] is 34.2% of the total EXP of the event, unlike the 20% of "normal settings" [or if both EXPs were affected]. No talking about manuals here.

i'm still kinda hoping the ti event for 135-150 is a pre-halloween trick and the "no 2x exp for turn in" is a pre-halloween trick too. maybe this extended maint is them fixing and applying the 2x exp to the turn in. well, one can hope right?

Heim pretty much flat out said no already, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

How annoying ... they aren't even posting anything as to why they extended the maintenance. It's probably gonna take half an hour or probably an hour again...They're already an hour late ...

they're not late on anything. as was stated on 10/17 in the IDC maint postponement announcement:

"The IDC move/maintenance scheduled for tomorrow, 10/18 has been postponed until next week.

Ragnarok and Requiem will have their regularly scheduled maintenance from 10pm-3am PST."

whatever the issue they're fixing is, give them some time to get stuff working right so you don't come right back here and complain that the quest is broken.
