In PvP the dmg modifier seems to be 4x. But what about WoE/BG? It just FEELS like it's x2 and NOT x4 dmg. So what is the dmg modifier of EDP in a WoE environment? If it really were x4 with JUST EDP, I'd think I would get 1-shot more often by EDP+link+SB. Someone confirm this? There's a certain someone that's being stubborn about it.

Here's what makes me think EDP is not 4x dmg. I'll need to test it with a friend later though. Basically...A SinX in BG comes to SB me without buffs. Let's say he does about 2.5k dmg. With a link he does about 3.75k dmg(This is because in WoE/BG, link dmg modifier of SB is reduced to 1.5x instead of PvP/PvM's x2 dmg mod). Later he comes with just EDP. He does about 50% more than he was linked. ie he did about 5.5k+ dmg. It seemed to be a little more than that. It's probably 2.5x dmg mod. Maybe I have a bad memory? All I can say is, with EDP+Link, an SB would nearly 1-shot me by doing about 10k+ dmg. But that's far from 4x dmg mod, don't you think?

Probably seems like 2x instead of 4x because there's a 40% skill reduction in woe.
Boost from sin link also gets lowered to 25%

Since you pm'ed me asking me to answer this...
EDP is not nerfed in BG/WoE.
BG however has full WoE reduction, ie, the 40% skill damage nerf, plus link is massively nerfed (AS WELL IT SHOULD BE - +25% damage instead of +100%).

There was probably some other confounding factor in that test you reported. Probably an element thing, like previously he had the element appropriate to do more damage to, and the next time he didnt.

I still think some of the most fun i've had in woe was when some terribad sinx's from atrocity, back pre-merge, were trying to kill me. I had my GR on (better than the deadly, since they'd probably default fire or holy on someone not known to wear zeph, right?).... and two sinx EDP'ed, and started SBing me. Both linked. Both not using an element! They were EDP-SBing me for under 2k damage. Then a third one joined in... HE DIDN'T HAVE ELEMENT EITHER!
It was absolutely hilarious.

Thanks for confirmation on the matter then. WoE dmg is all I care about anyways. Sounds like a fun story btw! xD
