>Like you start the game.. BAM porings start attacking you, so you just click.
>You start clicking and they die
>Baphomet came and rape you in 1 hit
>Valkyrie came and chase bapho away, telling you hey! you need to trans! give you pots and eden equipments.
....
>Then after you trans, valkyrie send you a mission to break small an emperium in some room while mercenaries help you against another army so you learn about woe.
>Then you and your mercenaries friends defend an emperium and then some elitist-_- from a big guild with god items came and rape all of you, and call you noobs and stuff, telling you to go back to eden.
>So you go to eden and do turn ins until you hit 150 and quit the game because that's all there is now..

The best thing for you to do is for you to think of 10 things to do in the following citys that can help a player get situated to whats the towns for rather then it just be about Eden Quests and Kill counts.
Prontera
Morroc
Geffen
Aldebaren
Juno
Alberta
Payon
Izlude
Comodo
Umbala
With things to do with in the city, it can help players move from one area towards the next and be able to meet players and people (npcs) along the way.

Also show this game to some of your friends, and ask them what they thing. For the most part people will be turn on to the game; can you tell us those reasons so focus can be made towards what the new players liked?

^thisI have many friends that used to play for years here and left the game already because of this new changes, some other friends got bored at training grounds and left too before giving the game a chance.
I let them play a few of my trans characters which motivated them alittle bit and they became hooked until renewal arrived. First impressions of a level up based game like RO matters alot to new players.

Idk why RO can't let someone run around a 150 of the class they choose for 15 minutes and beat the snot out of things to see what they like. The quest is for one player at a time. Idk if Gravity can do that but hell, I played MS for a long time because of that intro.
I mean really... being a level 1 novice sucks balls.

just lock my thread please... before i lose all hopes and delete my forum account.
You haven't done anything deserving of a locked thread.
You have a point in the uselessness of training grounds.
It doesn't teach you much at all.
The player should choose a class and then go through a training quest in their starter town. Not start off in some bot filled area and then be teleported to do who knows what.
I was lost when I became a mage. REALLY lost. I ran around Geffen and then couldn't figure out the maps and it was really frustrating.
I don't know if I would have played the game if i hadn't seen my aunt and uncle play it many years ago and my roommate started with me.
We were confused together but not everyone is lucky enough to have someone to learn with.

But nuuu, the training ground were one of the few good things about the game. You test each class before you pick, not pick then got stuck with that class. Seriously, he was being sarcastic and now everyone is like, yuh-yeah yeah, get rid of it, it's the only good thing about the game, delete it

Maybe an upgrade for it should be nice, making it teach some more usefull stuff for new players, and also making it be even more enjoyable.
Also should be nice to have an option to skip it for hasty players (getting the novice equips, but not the exp and potions from quests) <- personal opinion, to tell the true, I wouldnt skip that part but I know some people that would do it...

Give players a mission, rid the world of the monsters. Fight back. Level up, get stronger, fight and take control. Create conflict, power up.
The kafras are there to help you power up, defeat your enemies, join a guild, badass around the place and level up, fight.
That would be pretty nice, knowing you have a "ultimate goal". Not many mmo's have that.
