Hi, wondering if its worth renting it to help my lvl 21 swordie faster? Thanks in advance

I would say "no". You can get free weapons (either 1-handed or 2-handed swords, which will benefit from whichever mastery you intend to master) from the Eden Group equipment questline plus free Manteau, Hat, Boots and Uniform that will give you the much needed survivability.

The swords are much better because max mastery adds 40 damage to the corresponding weapons, which will match the rental pole axe's damage anyway.

Until you can start the 2nd tier quest for the first weapon, get either the Blade or Rapier if you want to use 1-handed swords, or Katana if you want to use 2-handed swords. Save the kafra points for other more useful items
