Ok, I am bored with the login server down and saw an April Fools event thread. It got me to ask, what would be a cool Christmas event.

The answer cannot be about 2x, 3x exp or something... or 2x drops... that just lacks creativity, thought, or game play fun.

What creative Christmas Event would you like to see?

I thought it would be funny if you could put an MVP in a Santa Suit while tanking them... a chance of getting it on them, which means they can't use skills for 60 seconds if I remember right. Or heck, an MVP could do that to anyone it hits? A MATK that doesn't do damage but anyone caught in it gets put in Santa Suits for 60 seconds? Not great for game play but would be funny (until it happened to you, lol).

What are your ideas?

In Ragnarok we will achieve Fimbulwinter.
Everyone then dies because no one made a character name of Lif and Lifbrasir just because its too impossible.
Server shuts down and people still complains of the nerfed ale.
WP will give a box of candies which was supposed for a November Trick or Treating in exchange of your $$$$$ which you spent all over this years.

MVP summoned w/ instance to only summon specific MVP's changing them every week; cost 1 to 15m per summoning with a 15 to 20 minute cool down. *(In the instance, Bubble Gum and HE Gum will have no effect)
Kill Counts with Item turn ins
Play santa clause and deliver gifts
WoE Double econ the week of chistmas
MVP head hunter, rewards for everyone who can be awarded the "MVP" on each MVP at least once.
High End Kill counts: 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 kill counts for players looking for more of a grind with the monsters card being offered as a reward when completing the 2000.

Doesn't stack with Overcharge

A player could buy the items with Haggle LV5 and sell them back to the npc at the same price they bought them for... that bad?

no one care about that crap, its just the most hypotric day wich only a few arrogants can "celebrate" while CHRISTmas and hallowen are celebrated by people of the whole world, even if they are jewish, catholics, playstation fanboys etc

Well idk what i would do for a christmas event, but with my guild every year since it was created we would hold a christmas party all day. On that day we bring out the novice we have named "Santa Claus" and dress him like santa for the day. Usually events are:


Secret Santa (using pet porings as "names in hat")
Hide and Seek "Santa"
Race Around RO
Singing on vent

It is usually a fun day all around. Everyone seems to enjoy it as well ^_^

I just hope we don't get another of those sappy story based quests like the one from last year. That was wretched. I think I was in physical pain the second time I ran it (I wanted an extra hat for a friend who wasn't playing at that time). Near vomit inducing.

I would do a secret santa event where everyone gets a gift that contains a random item. Not completely random-- but say, a random cash shop item, for free (Because it's christmas you cheapskates.) Just like, a consumable food (1x) on the low tier and a few battle manuals on the high tier, maybe some merc scrolls in there.

People can't open the gift, but they have to give it to someone. Everyone gets one free gift to exchange, and within that realm you can't gift to someone who's already received one (on any character within the account.) Interested parties can opt to buy a gift set of 5 boxes to hand out to more people. Since they're -_-ty items it'd be pretty cheap, like a dolla'.

They can only be gifted once~
You use the gift, and type in the name of the recipient, and the recipient gets an anonymous present in the mailbox that's no longer in gift form
