Its an event item, not tied to an update. Its also rediculously OP if the +9 bonuses are permanent, so wouldnt mind at all if it never made it to iRO. Have a DR card standing by just incase though lol.

On the subject of kRO updates though, anyone (GM) have any idea if/when we get the update to immune shield?

I just dont like the thought of 95% of people having backpacks on at all times...

Hope it gets here without the upgrade bonuses....or Greed.

How about scrapping all it does and making it increase weight limit instead?

Heimdallr said in a past maintenance thread (if you want to check, it was the the one two weeks back, I believe) that the second sprite layers (the one to which the backpack would equip) would be coming in 14.1 but not with the initial patch.

So we'd need to wait for that until the GM team can figure out how they want to distribute the backpack itself.

Neither will anyone else, having greed would be great though. So many people complaining about being unable to loot fast enough during turn ins it'd be perfect. The effects are nice too, especially with all the damage nerfs I don't see it being game breaking. Especially with how much additional reduction gear is introduced as well.(including the backpack itself potentially)

Should allow mechanics to use greed while in Mado suit if/when the backpack is implemented.

My problem with it is that its all on one random plain backpack. (Also if a simple backpack gets this, one may worry whats coming with the next bunch then xD)

-I mean, you say Greed is nice because looting sucks... then improve the looting system; making a backpack that enables Greed is a lame solution. Giving Greed to Novice when they get Basic Skill lv8 would be a direct fix, this backpack is not.

-The stats arent that broken, but why on a backpack? Do backpacks hold magical powers in myth and lore I'm unaware of?
I'd take those stats, put them on seperate garments that are visible on the character, like a sinx-esque scarf for the aspd one, a cat tail for the crit..you get my point, right?

^The game doesn't revolve in the myth now. Porings hold the greatest magical power ever!
And also, I reckon that this bag is a "costume" gear. Which makes it even more powerful.

Vacuum Cleaner
Jet Pack
Coffin
Skeleton
Xmas Tree
Large Donut
Lollipop stuck on the back of the character.

I'm fairly certain kRO ended up realizing it was stupid to block the skill for the class. So the backpack should allow Greed for all now.

Thugmission wants mado-mechs to be able to use Greed on their own. It would be awfully ironic if they could only use a skill in their own skilltree when backpack equipped :S

Mechanics turns to mado! - this is so amazing, we cannot allow them to use Greed as long as they have this awesome armor.
Get a backpack  - Yay anyone and their alpaca can use Greed.

I believe kRO changed it so that mechanics in Mado could use greed without the backpack, when the backpack was released.
