I know that Ragnarok is a old mmorpg, and is still going strong, and I have played the game on and off, and really never got "addicted" to it, but I always look back at the game and wish I could have gotten into it. Is it too late to start in this game? Because it feels like Ragnarok is a very deep game, that has a lot to do. I'm just worried that I will lose interest, which I don't want to do. Any tips that could help me out, or anything about the game in general would be awesome, like questing, classes, anything would help!

First tip: Make friends

Seriouisly, Ragnarok Online has some of the friendliest people on the Internet. We have our douchebags, of course, but you'll find that the community is very warm and welcoming. What server are you on? I'm sure you can find a guild almost right away. If you have any questions, just ask. If you're stuck, I'm sure people round here will lend a hand.

Also, do you have any preference on what kind of class you want to work with? On the free servers, you can basically create as many characters as you want (you can have 3 RO accounts for each WarpPortal account), so you can always dump a character if you don't like it. If you're really brand new, I recommend going Swordsman->Knight or Acolyte->Monk. The latter is probably better for newbies, since they can heal and buff themselves to some degree. If you want to read up on classes and what they do, I recommend going to www.irowiki.org
