Well, I decided to take my new +7 Glorious Gatling for a spin and test it out on Magmarings.

I might have actually reached 190 aspd if I had a Bless/Agi. It takes alot more to reach a high ASPD though for Gatling. Maybe someday we'll get a Gatling Fever fix(I don't care what HQ told me, It's broken )

Ended up using:
+7 Mercury Riser
+7 VIP Stats
+20 Foods
Berserk Pot
The ASPD pot that Genetics make
Matyr Card
And I think that was it(may one be another item, I forgot already)

I was happy with the end result for what it was, could have equipped better for the area. A few players were "WTF" and watched me for a few minutes and a GX /omg'd lol

What's "Last Stand"?

Unfortunately Impressive Riff doesn't give ASPD to Guns(or bow either I think).

...I didn't know about Guarana Candy lol I need to look that up

Last Stand is a gunslinger gives +100 ATK and +20% ASPD for 15 seconds at the cost of 4 Coins and the inability to move. With this move I've fought to my death many times in WoE pre-renewal. Can't run away so I might as well fire at will

Um, you can get Guarana Candy by doing something at Brasilis as far as I know.
That's too bad that Riff doesn't give ASPD, they should do something about that

Yeah, just finished the quest for Guarana candies thanks for the tip I'll have to try them out later but it shouldn't be a problem getting to 190. Now I just need to know if Second Expanded can go to 193 and work for that

Took a trip to Rachael Sanc. with the +9 Glorious Gatling. Tried it out with Guarana Candy and Bless/AGI but I still couldn't hit that last bump to 190 and was stuck at 189 ASPD but I was dealing decent damage. About 1248 Per crit with 84 Crit Rate

To reach 190 again, I had to substitute one of my Sheriff Badges with a Glorious Ring(+5% Aspd) and losing +10 Crit. Switching to a Hermode Cap didn't help any either =( it's that 5% I'm missing

Probably the one annoying thing is that with a Hermode Cap + Glorious Ring and no +20 foods you are still capable of reaching at least 189. It just takes alot to get that last push.

Guarana Candy just casts Agiup lvl 5 and uses a conc pot on you, so it shouldn't stack.

Looks like the +9 Mercury Riser did the trick and that sucks that Guarana doesn't work but I guess it's nice for newer players.

Still a hellishly expensive build with the +20 Foods. With Abrasive and Buche De Noel Crit rate is at 93

I've made some changes with equips that have come out in recent years since originally posting and which of course made it easier to reach 190 ASPD. With the addition of new gears I've managed to reach 190 ASPD with only a Berserk Potion. I tend to look at my stats with buffs after Rebellion comes out the 11th of November and lower my AGI according, but it's looking like I can lower it a lot and put them into other stat points like VIT, INT, or LUK and still manage 193 ASPD as soon as I hit level 100

I want to reset my lvl 92 GS (currently Desperado+Wounding Shot/Rifle-Crit build), but I dont know what skill I should get. Should I change to Spread Shot and grind in low TI with Destroyer, or get max Gatling Fever+Last Stand and do slow leveling with auto-attack. With Rebel coming shortly, I want to have Gatling Fever maxed as damage boost on Fire Rain and Round Trip later. Any suggestion?

(Btw, what do you mean by Gatling Fever broken back then?)

I'm guessing it's not giving the intended ASPD boost.

Since Renewal, Gatling Fever has and still is giving different ASPD when compared to Last Stand(If both are supposed to be giving +20% ASPD increase as per the skill descriptions). As of my last ticket in September, I get about a +6 increase in ASPD with Last Stand and only a +2 increase with Gatling Fever. One of the two skills is broken(Last Stand could be giving to much) and they are unable to find the problem.

I've just put my focus on workarounds and just ignoring the skill completely to still enjoy Gatlings.

@wadochimonji - I can't really answer those types of questions for you as I only play as Critical x Gatling. But the thing about Gunslingers are they have a variety of play styles to them and so they can be played by multiple type of people. It just all depends on what type of style suits you. Mine has always been a Point + Click laid back playing so that's what I built him around.

 

Looking at my stats now if Rebellion came out. Depending on how much in expense I wanted to play with him(i.e +20 foods, VIP, Celemine Juice, etc) As of right now though I could lower AGI under to only 50 AGI and still have 190 ASPD. With Gatling Fever and Last Stand I could almost have a Desperado Build and no AGI and still be exclusively Gatling x Critical. It all really depends on how much I want to put in to him(which since he is my main, everything). But of course I'm going to wait until Rebellion comes out here in a little bit to re-adjust my stats for Heat Barrel

After reset my skill, I just found out that Gatling Fever bonus atk is Mastery Attack   . Kinda useless with low atk Gatling we have right now. With 90 AGI and WPH + Hahoe combo, I got 1 ASPD increase (from 182 to 183) /otl
