I prefer my Sc over a Ranger. Fun to play and very versatile.Jack of all trades, Master of none

Ranger is sub-par as a class, overall. SC is good (and OP in woe).

i have both, i lvl both, i love both. that is like saying do you like cookies or brownie?
if you are comparing them as far as trapping abilities...sniper far beats SC.....one word...detonator. but if you are just comparing the classes all together both are fun in their own way. SC are fun cause you can copy other AoE attacks other then traps SR etc.
