I'm a lvl 61 hunter who never got the arrow crafting skill. i just tried doing the quest, but after i get the items and go back to the guy, all he does is tell me what he needs, the dialogue doesn't change at all. i got the trunks that you need from greatest generals instead of the willows, was i not supposed to do that? or is this a bug?

You might need to be job level 30 (again) before the quest can be completed. Some (but not all) of the 1st class job quests are buggy in that they don't give you credit for having hit the job level requirement in your 1st class.

Otherwise, be certain that you have the correct items (http://irowiki.org/w..._Crafting_Quest). The source of the items doesn't matter.

Alternately, you'll get all of your 1st class quest skills for free when you transcend with a character, so if you are able to get to 99/50 without needing to use arrow crafting, you will have it available as a trans character.

It doesn't matter where you get the items as long as you get the item listed.

But do you have all the other items he needs as well?

yea i have all of the items. i did get the pointed scales, do i need to get the tough scale like stem instead?

Yeah you need the Tough Scales on IRO.

i got it to work with the tough scales.
