if your going to revamp quests that's cool i might actually start playing on a regular basis then. but it would be cool if you did like a 3 hour quest it would give you better rewards then doing a 45 min TI.
also i was thinking about a idea about like a newbie box or like a like a goodwill type thing that if you had newbie gear you aren't using you could donate it to new players. i like helping new people and i wish there was a way i could just sit in the training grounds and kick bots because everyone that i have recommended to play this game looked at training grounds laughed and left. out of the 5 people i did recommend this game to 1 stayed and 2 pmed me and said are you kidding me this game is bot ruined there is no way i can play this i bet there are money spammers everywhere. and the other 2 were friends from my old RO days that just didn't see the point in playing a broken game right now.

Change the way experience is divided in parties. Increase the exp bonus per party member and give an extra bonus if there are different classes. This would motivate parties to invite GX's and other "unneeded" jobs to join them.

The bonus exp for unneeded jobs would be tricky... if it counted by 1st class, youd want 2 of the better 2nd cls in the party for example. Then theres the thing that classes can vary in build, which can make them essential in one situation but useless in another. Depending on how high the bonus would be, it would stay as is; just shuffle stuff around a bit since you would still add OP killers before crap; or it would be too good.

Honestly, I think the solution is a simple one,
beneath Each Take and Even Share, add a third exp setup which works like this:
everyone on screen of a monster when it dies from a partymember, gets the full exp.
Actually thats just turn ins, except its not limited to one map/only 2 monsters/once per day.

(I'd strongly suggest sticking this post so people can keep giving ideas over it)

Ok, I've been thinking about this:

First of all, a lot of people (including me) complain that TI's made everything too easy, and this is partially true, specially when the resetting timer option was added, but if TI's wouldn't have been implemented, people would be used to grind without complaining, just like pre-renewal (if there is a person who doesn't know TV's or computers, that person doesn't need them until you create the need for them). Almost no one complained about grinding in years because doing story quests and grinding were the main leveling methods. I know it's great to reach 150 fast but this also kills the excitement of reaching it, and you will soon find yourself leveling another character because you don't appreciate your main that much, unless you have been playing before renewal was implemented.

One of the biggest problems to level over 120Lv is that monsters don't reflect their level in the experience they give. They should give way more experience. Having said this, they should be more difficult to kill (i.e. having more attack power, not more HP, I know balance patch will take care of the high damage output so, HP on those monsters is ok), this way, parties will become an essential part of the game on normal leveling. Just imagine killing pre-renewal Anubis without the "undead" race/element or Bio3 mobs, Grinding those were awesome and fun.

Ok, and how do we promote grinding in parties? well, first of all, there are not many maps where you can actually go and decently level over 115, in fact, I could count them with just one hand, well, if you increase monsters difficulty and add a "raid mode" on every map over 115 lv, where a swarm of monsters alternate an increased spawn every 4-8 hours for a 30-60 minute, people would feel like having the choice of parting a high spawn rate map without having to wait for a turn in to level but desperately wanting to be in a party. People would still buy battle manuals to level up fast.

For example: "Bradium Golem maps" is experiencing a massive invasion! Stop them before they reach "X" Town!!!

People around that map level go that map to kill everything for the raid duration.

1 hour later: Juperos core is about to lose control of Dimik's production, Prevent them from scaping the zone!!!

And you could continue doing that all day long. in other maps.

Another idea that I have (maybe not really bright but worth saying, it won't hurt anyone), that could be really fun, is to implement MVP copycats in some maps. Imagine a map with 5 of the same MVP's, where none of them give the real MVP drops and have only 1/3 of the real MVP's HP but exp reward is half of the MVP. this would probably make parties alive again just to get the exp share and have some fun killing MVP's around their level (Imagine a bunch of people trying to kill orc lord -without earthquake- being around lvl 70, hehe, just kidding). This could be Suras and Genetists paradise, but at the same time a really expensive way to level for them.

I'll think of more things to possibly do. I do really want to help make this game more enjoyable and recover the MMORPG part it lost with the TI's. (without killing TI's)

Fixing battle grounds is also a good idea. Just sayin
Turnings are fine as how they are, people do turning because is the faster way to reach 150, is also fun sometimes, depends on what class do you use and how you are. Making new instances is also a good idea, like new MvP's like unsealed bapho or something like ET, those kind of events make people want to play the game, keeping them active and fresh, also quests are always a good optional way to give life to the game.

Well, I wasn't really talking about events but special spawns in some unvisited maps.

As for the part of "party diversity" bonus, I'd like to propose something like, for example, the party gets an extra 3%-5% experience bonus per different job. that way, if a party has 10 different jobs, the party would get , for example, an extra 25% experience bonus increase ( if they are inside screen range), this way, people could level really fast and at the same time would motivate people to party more and feel welcome in any party at the same time.

What do you mean by reviving RO?
I.Make it highly populated with 15,000 players peak like it was in open beta?
A.Attract new players
-This is out of the hands of the GMs, this is on the field of the marketing team and the word of mouth of players.
B.Keep current players and make them happy enough to recruit friends to join.
-This is what the GMs can do. I think this involves around enhancing party plays, mainly more places to party, more incentive to party.
-Give something a group of friends can accomplish together, and be proud of these accomplishments.

II.Make it highly profitable for iRO to run so that the developers invest more time and people for iRO?
-I don't think the GMs need any help with this one. Maybe a reminder that... YOU ARE A COMPANY, YOUR GAME CAN ONLY IMPROVE IF YOU HAVE THE RESOURCES. Impress the people in kRO that it's highly profitable to invest money and effort into iRO.

needs a hard mode dungeon with good drops/exp that would take rediculous set ups to complete and require actual skill and strategy... that make it difficult for even veteran players

Isn't something like that under the name "Nightmare Mode" on kRO now?
As far as I know they're testing it right now

The nightmare mode could work.

What about a pvp server? I'd be really funny to be able to kill people on the go and trying to level while a PK player tries to kill you xDDDDD

I'd also be awesome to kill those PK to get a hero status, where you can receive extra experience7drops bonus, or you can have a nice time killing bots, hehehe
