ROFL @ the Wife Beater's club. That reminds me of that one time someone was vending a bunch of hilariously carded equips in Pront... like "Panties of Chaotic Bleeding" and some really awesome sounding huuma shuriken which I can't remember the name of right now. Sadly I never did take a screenie so I can't post a pic of the awesomeness

This was my first witness of a GM mob-spawning event... from xmas 2002

For some reason there was a mass exodus from RO. Maybe the end of a 6mo billing cycle? Anyway, players were giving all their stuff away for hours, often in really orderly fashion.

Fight Club RO! Huge groups of players would fight mobs using only fists. On this trip a few of us made it down to Stings, but they laid the smack down.

My big break! I was part of a dedicated bunch of counter-attack knights, killing Khalitzburgs and Wanderers exclusively. We'd sit in neat groups around the 3-or-so spots where they would spawn. I sold this card for an absurd sum to the #1 smith on our server. He needed it because (paraphrased) "this card will let me solo Bapho and it's the only viable way I can hit 99 quickly"

Still don't have a screenie of it, but my friend had a screenie with a list of epic weapons/gears that, that one seller in Pront was selling. Along with the "Panties of Chaotic Bleeding", she was also selling:

1) Smashing Smasher
2) Bloody Blooding Bloody Eater
3) Fatal Serpentine Deadly Kobold's Huuma Shuriken

I like the Smashing Smasher XD
