I just want to point out that the idea of Occupy was to have people gather around; address possible problems; idea's and concepts to solve such problems -

For someone to put forth their idea's and someone else to put forth theirs, and what they think of the other idea.

Too many people had a down with corporation attitude about the whole thing - it should have been to try to work with everyone - Not fight against everyone and spread more hate.

The occupy movement really isn't for me since so many seem to be trying to manipulate its message in order to divide and conquer. The basic political dichotomy in the United States is based on the 2 party system. Each party has 1 thing I like and 1 thing I dislike, when they "compromise" they end up with only the things I dislike about them. This is because of the divide and conquer strategy. By making a 2 party system, they are able to get away with pushing brash legislation and scape goat someone else for its problems while they cheerlead on the principles they ran on but never commit to.

I also don't like several of the ideas they are pushing. I am pro-capitalist, and think the markets should be drastically de-regulated and taxes reduced. I think the majority of the fed should be cut, and those that are deemed necessary should have a fraction of the budget. I also disagree with the media-carta. The FCC is around for 1 singular purpose, to allocate radio frequency for broadcasting. If they did not do this then you would end up with cross-talk, and an unusable RF spectrum.

Yeah, this Occupy movement is about as legitimate as the CIA/MI6 Arab Spring.

That was a very carefully planned event. Not really on the same level.

The occupy events started out with all the best intentions and then turned into a massive cesspool of noncompliance and public indecency. How do they expect lawmakers to respect them when they can't respect themselves?

I'm not comparing the events just the fact a seemingly irrelevant actions can have a deeper meaning.
