I keep failing on the trap part of the test - I lag and then my sprite warps back to the bombring i've just laid and blows me up..... srsly anoying!

I've seen a vid on youtube where a dude uses res tokens when this happens, but it's on a japanese/korean server and you can take the test with you weight above 0 - not like in iRO where the only items you can take in are given to you during the q!

Unfortunately I've only treid with an open box of res tokens, does anyone know if you can get an un-opend box into the test?

Or are there any usefull hints/tips anyone can give me?

Any help is much apreciated, I'm at a serious loss for what to do!

Nothing can help you. You must keep trying and trying. No external help permitted.

Perhaps you need to find a new ISP with lower latency?

If you still can't pass the test then please delete your character, as you have been rejected by the Ranger guild.

the tokens of siegefried are very helpful to pass the test(take 4 tokens for each attempt). They dont weigh much and dont take ur weight above 0. But a connection problem is wat u got to take care of urself. U will never pass the test with poor connection

They do actually, they have a weight of 1 each >.< so they're no help

the trick is not to have weight above 0%. If u take a few tokens, u are still below 0%. I guess with base str 1 ur weight limit is about 3k. So at 30 wt. it becomes 1%. So as long as u dont carry that much you are 0% wt.

Had the same problem when I upped my snipe to ranger two weeks ago. After dying 4 times I used lowerping.c0m. It worked for me, it might for you.

Also, there's a video on Ytube showing where you can SET US UP THE BOMB for the hardest bit (Nepenthes). Too close and you'll die before getting away from him, too far and he'll be out of your bomb range.

It's a stop gap lag reduction solution of sorts for non-US based players like myself, although we still deal with about 200ms using it.

Without it we're clocking 300-600ms. I'm not sure if it helps for folks in the States.
