Maybe it's just me but alot lately when the action gets fierce I tend to lose my cursor in the screen alot. I have brought it up before but kind of a side note. I have seen on some Ragnaroks they have modified the cursors to suit their needs. I don't want to, nor do I encourage anyone to mod their clients if these were not official servers. But I am curious as to whether or not we could atleast be offered a secondary color option for our cursor like red?

So this brought me to my next thought of turning on min effect. Sometimes, I completely turn effects off but that just takes so much punch out of the effects of the game and the gameplay in general. So I tried min effect. It seems to me that min effect has 0 affect on all of the 3rd class AoE skills that I have come into contact with thus far. Can someone clarify to me the skills that are and are not affected by min effect? Are there any plans to add some of the 3rd class skills to that roster? Or are our only choices a) hardcore seizure mode with constant mouse cursor lost or b ) white silence sprites running around w/o effects?

I would like to think it's not just me that gets on a map with a full 12 person party and the screen explodes with effects everyone and damage numbers to boot on top of buffs and am alil like wtfx where is my mouse?

What's min effect?

Min effect is /mineffect. It is set by default for every woe map and it is supposed to reduce the effects that you see on screen so that they aren't so glaringly huge and overwhelming. But the list of skills that have an actual min effect available are very few. For example: magnificant.

I'd rather they make it so we don't have to worry about clicking on allies when we're trying to target the enemy that has used Snap/Flying Kick to stand on someone. It gets annoying when you can't target them easily while those guys standing on someone slowly picks off your guildies while in a mob.

The mineffect of Res is mad cute. It's one I can specifically remember.

What if the cursor had a thick black outline or something?
I have that issue too. I end up clicking on some random spot on the other side of the map x.x

Jack Frost min effect turn off moving frozen crystal (?) (i dont even know how to name it ) in wide area. So whole screen isnt covered by animation of moving ice.

I can totally agree to both points.
I more and more often loose my cursor in Eden or even playing.
Also, as I was on a party yesterday, it was such an heavy effect spam, that I couldn't only see my cursor, but I couldn't even see where to go...
So I tried mineffect, too, which made nearly nothing, since all the huge spammed 3rd cls effects stayed the same >.<

This. Even if we could have the option of making the cursor bigger? A big, red, cursor would be awesome. I lose my cursor all the time and combine that with lag... it can be deadly!

+1 for changing the cursor (or at least giving us the option to) so that it's either different color that sticks out more, or a different size/shape. I always lose my cursor during TI parties when everyone is spamming AoEs; also doesn't help that my wanderer's Severe Rainstorm cast circle is so freaking small that when it's really mobby and I lose my cursor, I can't be 100% certain that I'm casting in the correct area until multicolored techno-sperm starts raining from the sky =/

I'm in my 20's and I lose the cursor all the time. I don't want to turn the effects off though, I'd rather have a different cursor, maybe one that doesn't spin and suddenly disappear.

maybe allow custom cursors thro the data folder like loading screens... im sure the community will make the dif cursors from there

I personally would love an option to turn off just the large aoe effects while keeping other things like my sura's spheres visible.

But as for cursor colors, having more options available would be awesome! Maybe like having a menu under settings that allows you to choose from a few different colors. However if gravity wanted to do that they would need to get it approved by kro, and we all know how long that takes. :/

8 years later and this has not been address and it wont be they to lazy to tweak the code in the game to do that, let alone optimize the game for new systems,consider this game runs better on older hardware then newer

Theres been time my mouse was just.. Gone lost in the jack frost storm gusts frosty myisty KE Assumptuo Magnificat spams which is a bad thing for playing AB or Ranger.. There's also been cases where I had my ro mouse doing like its suppost too.. and my computers cursor chaseing me as I walked which isnt suppost to show while on ro..
