Insignia Damage Reduction?

I tested this on a mob of desert wolf. the a average damage was 230 per hit but with insignia it went up to around per hit . And yes it was a water insignia with the tanker wearing water armor.
whats missing here? where is the damage reduction? according to element table. if person gets hit with elemental attack same as armor he only takes 25% of the damage.i.e i should be taking 50-60 damage. But have ended up taking 50-60 more damage

Icon's would be nice indeed.
Makes me wonder if water insignia stacks with deluge.

wich sadly dont stack with more elemental reductionsyeah it turns the monsters attack into the respective element of the insignia so a water insignia with the tanker wearing water armor will reduce damage by 75%.

Yes, it is enough to just pot basic MVP's with a few whites and no kaahi, I sometimes end up doing drake in ET without worrying about reapplying kaahi. it doesnt rely on armor either which is nice.
(i have nowhere near enough data to make an accurate statement about the atk lvl, just a guess)

well.... you generally want the summon to be of the opposite element to which you are trying to resist...Or you can just use lvl 2 aqua summon. =/
Edit:
because generally the sorcerer is the one attacking.rather than a pure tank role.
