Hey guys,

I am here to ask teh creative community a question. The question is about the yearly christmas party i throw in game for my guild. I was wondering if you guys could help me think of some fun games that could be played. I know ones that i am bringing back are secret santa, race around RO, and Hide and Seek (santa edition...yes my guild has dibs on the character name Santa Claus /gg). Anyway i was wondering if you guys could help me think of some more games that could be played.

Thanks for all your help.

Hum... I don't know if this advice is helpfull or not, since we're celebrating christmas differently from you...
But as I read your post, I thought about the kids when Nikolaus comes to them.

As explaination:
Here we celebrate dec 6th as well as "Nikolaus Day", going back to Nikolaus of Myra, who did several good deeds along his way. You know him as Santa Claus who comes in the night of Christmas Eve, we know him as Nikolaus who comes on the 6th ;3
Anyway, for us on the 6th, Nikolaus comes and visits the children (mostly the smaller ones, who still belive in him, just like the Easter Bunny) and give presents to those who were kind and upright over the year (he has a book where he notes this down), but for those who're not, he has a wicker to punish them. Of course every kid gets presents in the end, but as child, you're always chilled and sometimes even afraid, if he considers you as kind and upright ^.^
It's mostly a close friend or relative btw who's dressing up as Nikolaus ;D
Anyway, some associations also let come the Nikolaus if they're celebrating christmas time with kids around on the 6th, and give smaller presents. Or you come across one on the christmas markets and such. It's mostly something to eat there, like a orange, cookies and such.
There are also customs like putting your boot out in the night of the 5th to 6th in front of your door and the next morning, Nikolaus has added smaller gifts in it. It's usually nothing special, just smaller treats you get on that day. The big presents are brought by the christkind (christchild) on the evening of the 24th ;D

Aaanyway, I get off track... XD
It's not uncommen that children get asked by the Nikolaus to sing a song for them or tell a little christmas poem. It's a nice way still coming from old times x3
Maybe you could do that in a nice form for your guild.
I remember to had a contest within my guild on euRO back then where we part the guild in groups and gave every group a fairytale. They had time to think about how to portait it and had little theatrical like shows ingame, which was a huge fun (many altered the story a bit XD)
So, maybe you can cross both themes and the groups should retell a famous christmas story and getting little treats afterwards

...big post for such a small suggestion, I know q.q

I usually held scavenger hunts with really bizarre items or open ended requirements.

For instance, "an item with a funny description" or "find five purples items". It makes it a little more fun and I'd give points for creativity and style.
