Ok returning player from ORO thats australian ragnarok.

I would like to ask a question.

What can you do when a player keeps calling you a bot and will not stop telling the group your in that you are a bot. He then informs the group i'm pathing funny on his screen. I inform group everything on my screen moving fine.
Player then keeps calling me a bot and tells professor to steal my sp. i inform the group i'm not a bot he then calls me a retard and dense. i then leave the group as he starts to get nastier as he is now telling them that his going to report me for skill abuse as well as my skills are acting funny on his screen as well.

Anyone know why i would appear to be moving funny on his screen and my skills appearing to be constantly staying up.

or should i talk to a GM about this.

You should take screenshots, then send in a support ticket reporting him for harrassment.

The main thing todo when someone asks you if your a bot a lot of times is just reply in a way that doesn't sound like an auto response.

I like to give bots the simple test of 2+1=?, or something easy like that, and if they fail their obviously a bot and I screenshot and report them.

The problem with the bot programs is that they can generate auto responses.

Otherwise just talk normally to your group in the situation you had and they will ignore him.


EDIT: For instance if I asked you if you were a bot and you just typed "not a bot". I would respond with "Ok then what is 2+1=?". You could reply with something funny like..."Well I flunked grade 1 math, is it 4? lol" or you could give the right answer if you wanted.

cool will do that next time. half the time i do not know what to say when in a group. i say hi hi then go quiet.

and call him bad for not being on your level... make him look like a-_- infront of ppl hes tryin to impress without losing your cool

and by law of trolling if he says "my friends parent works for x company and has x connections" you must screenshot it and post in tirades whatever thread isnt basemods

i had to go look up what a bot ment i thought he thought i was a cyborg till i went learnt what the term ment

Problem is you have to reply with more than "I'm not a bot" all the time.

I have run into a few bots that have auto reply setup for the word "bot". But ask them any other questions and they never reply.
