That's stupid though because reduction doesn't actually REDUCE anything that kills you. Suicidal destruction? Ignores reduction, Gate of hell? HP/sp portion ignores reduction. Dragon breath? Ignores reduction. I can keep going but you get the idea. Everything should be reduced properly but it's not. That's why magic seems so weak.Selfdestruction doesn't need a buff Heim. =( Increasing their resistance (NOT DEF but actual damage resistance) via Mado Licencing or Gear Frame is a much better idea.

Good job Heilm! I am happy we have now got the skill balances from KRO. Here is to hoping you are careful not to overreact with the custom iro changes this time. Keep up the good work!
True words from a genetic/shura player. Genetics/shuras are like corrupt politicians; whenever someone is better than them or challenges their authority, they bribe Gravity to nerf everyone else and buff themselves.

Once this is live we can take ideas that are well thought out and try to get them implemented, so now begins the point where we can try to make new things happen regarding the classes. This is why it is important to not keep delaying. I think Sorc HP was due to PVM concerns more than PVP, and likely the opposite for the RKs. Really I personally think the Mechanics HP should match up with the GX crowd but we'll look at that later.
This is why it's not ready now.
You want us to test builds and then submit feedback.
Then we have to buy resets with the new changes. Do the testing purely on Sakray and THEN put the patch. What is the point of getting a free reset if you are going to change the skills in the next few weeks.

I thought the balance patch was supposed to bugfix the whole Dragon Breath ignoring everything? Speaking of that does anyone have a working link of the changes that were supposed to be implemented, I for the life of me (too lazy to search, and won't admit it) can't find it. Lil help?
Honestly though, the balance patch is whatever, people get so get riled up about not being able to kill everything in one shot. Yes it sucks your one dimensional character lost its only dimension, yes you'll have to step your game up if you want to kill people, yes WoE will now require more than 2 buttons, yes I have one of every pre-balance patch OP char, yes i'm terrible at RO WoE and PvP, and yes I did the research to realize 70% of people don't know what they're talking about regarding the balance patch, yes this is a run-on sentence.
To explain it simply in a small list off the top of my head:
1) Genetics are no longer CC/AB/TW/HP mashers, they can be lethal with a bit of skill. Howling is werfless.
2) RK's can't one shot guilds with DB or SB
3) You can't do Gfist every 2 seconds
4) Rangers still got the Bow Guardian Card Prefix (lol?)
5) Sura's will always be OP, from when they first came into RO, until the game blows up, it is a fact, we all must live with it.

This was answeredI bet they're rushing the balance patch onto main servers because people are too lazy to go download sakray and try it...really. I have yet to see more than 60 people on sakray at once this whole week it's been open >.>
, I can't let iRO sit as it is for many months while we nitpick on specific skills, it just adds more frustration that we aren't moving forward. The Sakray testing was just to make sure the skills did what they were stated to change to

You want us to test builds.
Testing formulas =/= testing builds. I don't get why so many people are having a hard time understanding this. You can be 99/50 and still be able to test formulas properly. Then just extrapolate the data and you will know exactly how much damage you can do.

No what heim clearly just said, he wants us now to use the skills on the main server and then they will do changes according to feedback. So basicaly we are still testing. I'm not talking about formulas.

The only thing that's different from pre renewal is chaser's hp mod was increased a little. RG still gets faith(and vanguard force now)Woa Woa Woa a GX, SC and a Rg start out with the same health???? something is wrong here... very wrong....

@asayuu:
Swing dance is pretty op!
No it's not. 35% ASPD [in theory] is the second best ASPD buff of the game, I need to admit it... Even so, not enough.
Which one is the first? Impressive Riff. With 100 AGI, a Maestro can also give 35% ASPD too. The only difference between both buffs is: Swing Dance works in bows, and is the only ASPD buff which works in bows.
@My function in WOE:
I tank things with my stacked HP gears and 37k HP. AND SPAM SIREN AS A MAD GIRL. Because I never have a bard to CP with me. All bards are busy doing strings, or do not have 37k HP like me. /gg
@
Actually, not exactly specific about wanderers, but look how restricted performer buffs are.
Gloomy Shyness: Buffs the damage of... Swordsman class skills.
Dance with Wargs:
Lady Luck: Boosts critical hit rate. WHO CRITS NOWADAYS?
Focus Ballet and Whistle (Forgot iRO's name of "that bard skill which raises flee and is necessary to learn Lullaby"): SERIOUSLY WHO LEARNS THIS? *quits this post because my wanderer has this skill D:* The hit bonus is not enough even for a Ranger reach the hit bonus to 100% hit on White Lady [she needs over 550 HIT to be hitted. No classes in the game can go that far except some kinds of RKs or people with Phreeonis]. There are monsters with Flee UP too, but they are buffs. Flee and P.Dodge buff for bards is also pointless... It even seems the skill got nerfed and do not give pdodge anymore... but it was what? 15 with 100 LUK? D:
Impressive Riff and Swing Dance: "omg look, nerfs to linked blacksmiths" Nothing else. Both are useful for
The list can go further, but I am too lazy. Now check some aco/priest buffs.
Blessing: Gives STR, DEX and INT.
Increase AGI: Gives AGI and boosts movement speed.
Assumptio and Angelus: Gives defense.
Impostio Manus: Gives attack. TO EVERYONE!
There are exceptions in both cases, but look. While priest buffs are mainly "general" [aka you can use it on everyone and they won't have any problem], performer buffs are only useful in one class or one set of classes.

Using skills still isn't build testing. A build doesn't necessary revolve around a skill but a play style. Yes we are still testing as 4? days of sak isn't nearly enough to test everything and it didn't even cover the PVM changes or even WoE ones. Hopefully with this update we can connect to Sak via the main client. Edit: Then people can test builds by just creating instant 150/50 chars on sak test server to test their builds.

DB precasting has more to do with cast time, sacrement buff and your aspd as opposed to 4k off your base hp, it's still going to be the most painful Aoe skill. And to be honest I am excited about hundread spear and crush strike as both can be used with the kvm spears. It's going to give rk's a much more diverse skillset. The Stormblast 'nerf' was not as strong as everyone thinks. It's still going to be a bread and butter ability for good RK's to use.Expect to have no HP, weak DB damage and not be able to do anything.
