Here's the catch about judgement set,

What is everyone that is too low level to complete new world quest suppose to do in the meantime?

Many of these quest for practical reasons you need to be 120s to comfortably complete.

^This. I don't believe they should destroy the skill with the thought that "oh, these equips will make it all better." The new equips, if anything, should ENHANCE your ability to use this skill....and even if it made you instant cast or something, I don't feel it would make you OP or anything. ME can only be used in very specific places, so I don't think enhancing ME would throw a wrench in any workings.

And like Squishy said, for those that are using ME to level, who CANNOT obtain such equips yet.....that's very punishing. Higher end equips should facilitate your ability to do things. They should not be used such that, only now, can you do *anything*.

EDIT: Ehwang, with all due respect, 4.5 seconds cast time for ME is freaking slow. I haven't gotten to leveling there yet, but the idea of a 4.5 second ME in Nameless Island......nooooooo. You'll be a splat on the floor 9 times out of 10.

I mean if someone could already make them on Sakray to analysis how faster the cast would be.

You need level 100 to be able to use the mace 1, and 130 to be able to use the mace 2. Try to find friends, don't try to solo those quests. Lots of those places are impossible to survive at lower levels. And this is to all the classes, not only bishops.

Even so. The problem is not variable cast, but fixed. If you have Adoramus maxed, you will only be able to max Sacrament at job 47. If in 12 15 seconds total cast, you cast in 4.5, but 3 are fixed, it is pretty good. If it were 1 fixed [as the custom settings were], it would surely be under 3 seconds total cast.

I hope next week they plan to put this ^^

Yes, I understand the problem is the fixed part of the cast time. And gosh it's so very long =P

I do hope they plan to reconsider this. I'll just stay active on this thread and similar ones so I can see what's going down.

Before the server would go down, I realized my ME casting time had returned YAY!... have to check on soul exchange and I'll be happy.
