So, I am an almost lv110 Sura and I had Lightning Ride as my main AoE skill and I never got Sky Blow.
Now I don't know which way to take: Lightning Ride, Sky Blow, Lion's Howl, Tiger Cannon, Earth Shaker and Rampage Blast.

Lightning Ride: I don't like this skill anymore because of the new cast thingy.
Sky Blow: I never tried it, is it worth getting now?
Lion's Howl - Slow to cast, long cooldown, low damage. (Had it at level 1)
Tiger Cannon: Never tried, but being a combo skill,doesn't it take long to be used as you need to use other skills first?
Earth Shaker: With that damage and cooldown it's not very reliable. (Had at lv2)
Ramapage Blast: Costs too much SP (150SP at lv1). It'll require too many SP recovery itens.
Why did you select the text? Are you curious? ;]
Which of those should be more effective solo after this unbalance patch?
As it is now it's doesn't seem worth getting Lightning Ride nor Lion's Howl(it never was).
And feels like Earth Shaker wasn't made for AoE fighting.

I got to try TC + RB + Windmill. While problems with lags only on the combo.

Sky blow level in Magma2 until 125 or so.



As long as you pin monsters to the wall, you can spam sky blow on a monster continuously. Aim for RD 10, RB 5 in that order(Pick up power absorb somewhere inbetween levels)

In a small place like magma2 it's very easy. Small maps include nameless, and bio2.

You can also do TC leveling, but I wouldn't recommend that at lowers levels, more so if your gear isn't decent.

At your level Sky Blow would be your best bet. What LuxiLux said is correct, get the monsters against the wall for best damage.
Earth Shaker is good to have because of the stun it has not the damage.

just to add up, if you understand sky blow against wall concept, you can make any curvy wall like Scaraba 2 to pin your mob.

As for the stats, what would you recommend?
I was pretty happy with my custom LR build:

STR: 75
AGI: 81(was being increased
VIT: 45
INT: 45
DEX: 75
LUK: 1

With that I had 13k HP and 1K SP, my LR's damage was around 4,3k
To do some good damage with SB, should I lower VIT, STR or DEX?
I'm a PVM player, I barely go PVP or WoE.

EDIT: With this answered I probably won't have any other questions:
My job level is 20 atm. These (click here) are some of the skills I plan to get for now.
I want to keep my champion combos but I still try to save skill points.
Before I used to have bless lv10 and agi lv8, how does both at lv9 sound?
Spiritual Cadence / Sphere Absorption saves me from buying SP recovery items.
Level 5 Trifecta sounds better than lv10 (more chances to be cast).
MS for 2 minutes sounds fair enuff / when I go ET there's a good RG to sac me when it wears off.

->What equipment set do you recommend? I used to want the Valk Set, but it's weight might slow down aspd.
I never follow other people's build, but the best way to create my own is by getting good advice to have some basis.

If you wanna level a little more efficiently, you can invest in a double hunter fly carga, a nydhoggr's shadow garb(with raydric), and a rideword hat. With this gear combination, you'd get:

11% chance to restore 38% of the damage dealt as HP to the user with each physical attack
2% chance to restore 5% of the damage dealt as SP to the user with each physical attack



Those numbers might look small, but when you're mobbing 10-15 monsters, it will proc pretty often. This is generally what people use to avoid SP potion costs, as well as reduce hp potion cost. Earth Deleter armor also helps with SP.

As for stats, I'd add a little more vit to your current build. The good part about SB is that you don't really need a specific build to get good damage out of it. I'd increase str a little more too.

I honestly wouldn't skip blessing/Agi Up 10. Champ combos become obsolete once you get sky blow. Also, If you really want to continue using combo skills, I'd recommend the Sura combos for fun

I'll keep using my +7 St. Patrick Hat [1] for now, until I can afford those.
For cards I kinda planned to get the Monk Card Set since I got a waste stove card. ;P
I changed the skill build again.
I'll keep the champion combos at min until I can get Sura's ones then.
I just get confused when it comes to pick between max Flee or Iron Fists. x.x
