Disagree. It's still a good opportunity for testing the balance patch under WoE conditions. I guess they could do an event WoE though and just open a few castles.

It's supposed to be an event WoE. iirc though, WoE is usually cancelled that day.

I'm sure that the majority of players will be having some sort of dinner or travelling to visit friends/family.

Yes it is a bit too early to know the full extent of the balance changes. But overall people seem to be enjoying it it a lot more which is a VERY good first step and first impression. Compared to the first RE WoE which had mainly only complaints this balance patch is doing a LOT better.
