25% more damage from Fire being Undead is not a big deal. Dragon Breath is a lot weaker now from RK's HP reduction. If you can resist two troublesome status effects at the same time at the exchange of being weak to fire, I'll take the first.
It also makes you immune to about 70-80% of the GX's running around using VI.
Stone immunity can also be gotten fairly easily with dual gemini carded upper/mid gears. That also leaves you free to use unfrozen, and in the case of RG's (or well organised people) endow holy on armor.
Wouldn't a high upgraded Red Pom Hat contribute to Hard MDEF btw?
Nope, Red Pom Hat doesnt give mdef, it gives "demi-human magical reduction" so has no effect on frozen chance.

That would apply for regular "Stone Curse" skill... Sienna E. follows a different formula it seems... kinda like CAN'T be resisted other than immunity cards such as Medusa and so... it seems chance depends solely on Skill Level.

2 Gemini works the same as immunity. It's 50% stone curse resistance, 2 is 100%.
I see... I was under the impression that it works same way Assumptio works for Freezing immunity... kinda like multiplying instead of adding.
But yah... it seems that cards still work but it bypass Status or %MDEF.

I wouldnt be surprised if more gear gets added that grants partial frozen immunity, makes more sense to require multiple gears to be immune to something rather than just one, or gears that add several partial resets like gemini or meteo plate.
