We have been eagerly awaiting the Event WoEs for after the Skill balance patch to occur, and now we are ready to reveal the schedule!

For this WoE period the Steward will be disabled along with normal treasure Pickup. Whatever the castle holders are right now will be put back after the event period, so you guilds won't lose your currently owned castle. Each Realm will have a theme during that WoE period, and it will match across all servers. Tuesday on Valkyrie will be WoE 2 only, and Wednesday on Ymir and Yggdrasil will be WoE 2 only, Saturday on all servers at the normal times will be WoE 1 ONLY.

The events are scheduled to start on Wednesday the 21st and continue through January 17th. During this time Recall will be disabled on all WoE maps.

A few questions that come up about what class counts as what for the expanded classes.

Super Novice (1-99 variant) is considered a Novice and for anything in the "Under" category.

Ninja, Gunslinger Taekwon Kid, are all considered to be 1st classes.

Soul Linker and Taekwon Master are considered 2nd classes.

The expanded Super Novice (lvl 100+ variant)are considered both as Novices and 2nd class.

Super novice should not be considered in the novice category. SNs are way OP compared to your regular novice.

=/ having several tiers happening at the same time divides the population and is really a bad idea, if what you want is to have eventful woes. I can see a high high percent of people just doing the no-restriction woe, or totally ignoring tiers like novice woe, first class woe, etc...

Please consider setting different tiers on different times or days.

Also, are third class SuNos really being considered equal as regular, perma novice? :)

Wednesday December 21st WoE 2 Ymir and Yggdrasil, and Tuesday December 27 on Valkyrie,
I assume tomorrow's WoE will be a normal WoE for you guys. :)

And I like the idea of WoE 2 only. Maybe we'll get a large turn out, even if its not event WoEs. It may be more fun to have all of ygg in Juno considering the turn outs. rofl

But is there a method that stops 150s from coming in and wiping the floor for their team, or are we just hoping that everyone that plays this game is mature? xD

Edit: And I'll have to agree with Kad. I think many of us made characters with the assumption that it would go something similar to: 1st class WoE today, 2nd class tomorrow, trans this day, etc. Trans and under idea is fine, but having it broken up with 1st class in realm A and trans in realm B isn't the best idea imo.
And do all of them have to be PVP rules? :) I think having more pre-renewal style WoEs would be nice, since some of us haven't had the chance to experience it. :Emo_15:

Concurring that restricting WOE to certain classes will be better than restricting realms to certain classes. The way it's set up now, players will be spread to thin among all the castles for WOE to be fun.

I don't assume that we will have enough people to fill up 4 realms of "event" characters. This is why we have multi tiers for them each week.

And yes we will have PVP physics (not reduction) meaning some other skills and pushback effects will be active in WoE at that time. It is just for fun and I realize it will be somewhat "broken".

Valk WoE will NOT happen.

The castles may trigger because they are being frustrating, but no one will be able to go in.

Umm... forgive me if I don't understand your logic but:

... if we can not fill 4 realms with players of one tier, how are we going to fill then 4 realms with players on different tiers? Isn't that like, the same amount of players required? :P

If you are worried about not enough players participating, then you could maybe close some more realms, and having the less popular woes out of the 'main woe days'. For example:

- No restriction woe on tues (wed on ymir/ygg) <-- popular woe, on normal day
- Novice only woe on thursday <- not so popular woe, on an extra day

- Trans only woe on saturday <- again, more popular woe on main woe day
- !st class woe on sunday <- not so popular woe on extra day

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If instead, you do all woes at the same time on the same day, the only thing which will happen with not-so popular woes is that they will have very very few people and the popular woes will have less people too, and both will be not as exciting as they could be. Plus personally, one of the things I liked about the event woes was having more than two woes only per week... I'm sure that for an event, everyone would like more days of for-fun woe.
open 1 castle per realm only, it will be funtastic. Else ppl would rather sleep than participate in empty chibi woes. What are the rewards?
Ninja[...] are all considered to be 1st classes.
You must be joking! Ninja's are capable of killing low end 3rd classes. Killing anything under trans or 2nd class is easy for them!
So why disable tao, gr and gtb but not disable Fallen bishop cards? Surely a fallen bishop sports a bigger advantage in 1st class and trans woe's that the previous listed cards do. So Heilm, why haven't you opted to also disable fallen bishop cards?
Fallen Bishop is about equal in powerful to a Tao card ( in the correct hands of course ) and now Valk has just as many FBH as we have Tao's. There's no reason this should not be disabled.
