was wondering if using stargate7 on lava set is good for mages since the prices of D7 are way way ups now.. anyone care to share their thoughts on this?

I wouldn't do it :S

I think it is a waste to put a Stargate in a Lava set, since Lava set is mainly for AP, and without D7 it isn't worth it.

I also had no money for D7's, but I started saving, untill I gathered enough money to buy a couple.

I would say, save some money and buy D7.

Lava set isn't mainly for AP....
The best accuracy necklace and earring are the lava ones.

since you were planning to put SG7s on a Mage, SG7s with Lava set on a Mage is almost useless since most Mages Skills are reliable meaning they always do damage. but they can "miss" but all it does is halve the damage.

i find it useless since Mages get good enough accuracy from the lava set its not worth it. i would like SG7s on Raiders early out since they have suckish Accuracy.

I would say SA7s would work fine in lava sets. They could be very helpful.

It's better to do full damage more of the time than just half damage most of the time.

Anyway, SA7 set would be mostly for PvP since in PvM you can get by with sucky accuracy.
