Requires ActiveX to start the download so yeah.. pretty much. You only need IE to download the actually installer downloader. I hate things that do this myself

First link works for me (Chrome user here), it's the complete client and I'm downloading with 1.5MB/s.
e: Nevermind, cancelled at 50%.
Could complete the download now without any trouble.
