:> This excited me when I got it. I've been wanting to try it for a while and I've been drooling over videos of it recently.
I'll be looking forward to ignoring some more annoying family members those days~

RO2 will be bad as long as Requiem Online is having lag issues. Since RO2 is the same engine as Requiem, it will experience the same issues Requiem has in regards to server load and crashing. Right now Requiem servers have trouble holding 500 people simultaneously. When it comes to games a playable game with no content is always better then an unplayable one. RO2 can be the most genious design ever, but if no one can play it--its garbage.
I think the issues in Requiem are either netcoding issues or hardware issues. It seems that after some time like maybe a year the character data builds up and the servers can no longer keep up with the amount of data. It could be that they are using 5 year old servers, or it could be that the engine was never designed for the long term like Ragnarok Online when you bump the drop rates for 500x.

Ive installed already. Dont expect much after that other then browsing the bgm files. You cant start the game until the final CBT starts.

It's the same engine that Rift and Warhammer Online use, and they didn't have any problems handling much greater numbers than 500 people.

Well luckily it had some sort of restore, because when pressed the button in the menu where it said it had 0% it scambled for a while and then recovered the data. My fast net is basically being wasted because it hasn't ever broken the 300 kb/s barrier for me.

I am surprised that I got invited to participate considering that I got it on my new email. I got this email only 3 months ago just to make a new account. Hopefully I don't get completely lost while playing.
