I've heard that the HP/SP regen proc with the Rideword hat doesn't work with Ranger's Arrow Storm is this correct? Would someone be able to test this out? I haven't been able to test this myself. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

From my experience it does not work.

States on the hat also that it only works with physical melee attacks. (not ranged)

Nid garment works though.

@Tzayad in simple terms
physical attacks are of two types (skills/or hits)
1. Mele- short ranged
2. Ranged- long ranged.

In short it does work with rideword hat.

It DOES work from my experience.
It helped me a lot at magma2 today, especially since I left my Nid on another character. Priests forgot to use mag and we didn't have a Sorc/Scholar, so I'm sure it was the hat.

Ahh thanks guys. Looks like I need to go find myself one of those!

It works but requires you to mob to get a decent chance for the leech and higher leech amount. Might not be a good idea in endgame especially with the buffed up mobs and Rangers being a squishy character.

Why would it plainly state that it only works with MELEE if it also works with ranged? just a question.

Maybe I'm just REALLY unlucky with my procs lately

Melee as in physical damage I believe. I am not too sure if the rideword hat works with magic, I have not tried that.

Rideword procs with PHYSICAL ATTACKS (this includes ranged attacks), not just MELEE.

Thats what the DB says, not the game is what I'm saying. I'm not arguing that you are wrong that it works.

The game description says melee. (considering how often the in game descriptions are wrong though...)

Well you won't find out about it till you test it. It does work with Arrow Storm, Severe Rainstorm, Clashing Spiral, Gate of Hell and all of those are ranged.

Melee and physical usually mean the same thing in ingame descriptions. It'd say short range physical if it meant short range only like earth deleter.
