Hi, so I'm a level 14 adopted merchant and my mom is a level 99 whitesmith. For some reason even share doesn't work for the two of us together when it should. However, once my dad joins the party, even share works again. Irowiki says a single parent can even share with the baby without the other parent being in the party. Is there a bug or something, or are we missing out on something? Please help, and thanks in advance~~!!!

You've always needed 2 parents and a child in party (assuming that they are not in normal share range). There's a trick to get around this limitation however. You can leave one of your parent (or child) dead on the same map and share the experience between the parent and child (dead parent will not leech EXP from the kills).

Oh really? Well Irowiki should change that :x. But I do remember that adopted kids could be leeched by one of their parents D:. Did renewal change this, or was the single parent leveling never implemented?

And yeah that works, but it sucks when one of the parents aren't online.

@espeon/Charisma, how did you guys do the party? My mom made it, then invited me, and once I was in the party she put even share but it wouldn't work :/. Can someone help please O:?

Done it both ways. Party with mommy leading, party with baby leading. Just set share and went on like nothing was wrong. As long as the parent is lvl 70, it should be no problem.

it was normal to share exp with one parent earlier...didnt need 2 parents

Er, but that's what we did. She was a level 99 Whitesmith so she's definitely over 70. I tried being leader, and so did she, but when we put on even share it didn't work. This same thing happened with my other baby's in-game dad. He was an RK, but he couldn't even share with me unless my mom was in the party too :/.

I know this worked 3-4 years ago. Haven't tried since.

Balance patch broke this. It is unknown if it is intended or unintended. Best bet is to send in a ticket explaining how it worked in the past and that it isn't working now so you can be 100% sure that the GMs have seen the issue ( it has been reported in the balance patch threads but unkown if the GMs have seen the post or not )
