Never joined a faction or guild or anything liek that, just wondering how one goes about gaining honor points... is it union wars only or are there quests? Does it matter what union you join?

Honor points are the quests which you can do all union quests now so utilize that as much as you can if you want to do them.

afaik Honor points are collectable in UW only.
The Union Quests now give Valor points.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

EDIT:
do you get Honor points in PvP-Aeras like DotD or Sikkuku Ruins?

Valor - PvM, Currently only available through Union quest givers.

I dont know why you have to remove the quest that gives UW pts (or as you call it now Honor pts) it also takes hours to even get a decent amount of pts just doing the quests. It just makes other places more dead and UW being filled with leechers.
