I recently got Grimmtooth and I'm a little concerned as it's not working. I have the katar equipped and I hide beside the target but nothing happens.
Originally I tried cloaking, as the skill description says it can be used with it(or maybe thats a typo) but then I tried the regular hide way and that wont work either.

I'm not sure what it could be and am worried I'm bugged or I dont know. I'm very lost. I've been googling around but so far all I've found is the basic instructions which I've been following, and some people reporting that it wont work(but in this case they weren't using hide)

maybe ur skill lv is low so mobs r out of range? and i think grimmtooth only works in hiding

I'm having same problem. Even when I get a mob to attk me and hide, it will not work. If I do it from claoking, then I just follow the mob around or run circles around it. No Grimtooth dmg

That is EXACTLY whats happening D: I just..dont do anything. I stand right beside it doing nothing in hide, and I follow it around in cloak.

Also the mobs arent too high level, one is red but one is that pink colour and another was even grey. All three it was the same.

T_T I'm very worried.

EDIT: I finally got it to work. It seems you have to be literally RIGHT beside them or it doesnt work. Not even a square between. But THE square beside.

Is this suppose to be the case? If thats true it's very difficult to use the ability on anything that isn't an unmoving object, since it seems cloaking does NOT work(despite saying it does in the description.) But at least I know how to get it to work.

Yeah, level 1 has a horrible range. Max it and it will be better.

The range of Grimtooth is bugged up to lv4. It seems to have -1 range at lv1 (It won't work, at all. No matter how well you position yourself.), 0 range at lv2 (you have to be directly on top of the monster to use it) and only 1 range at lv3. It seems to right itself at lv4 though.

That's..very disturbing that the skill cant be used at the beginning. But thankyou very much Thats a great help. That would explain why I was able to use it recently, because I had leveled the skill with the hopes it'd become fix sooner or later.

Now I know.
And knowing is half the battle.

Interesting, this definitely is a bug that ought to be fixed. And it's nto surprising it's gone unnoticed, because everyone maxes it.

Wonder when it was broken....

It does work if you press sonic blow and grimtooth while hiding...

Just got it to lvl 2, still not working

Correction: It now works from hide, but the range seems lower than advertised.

Likely still bugged, yes. So you need it up to at least 4, really. A lot of builds have it maxed out, so if you're going off that it's fine.
