I've been leveling my homunculus in ant hell and went away for about 20 minutes. When I came back, I found myself on hu_fild06 and disconnected from the server. How is this possible? Have I been hacked? I thought you could not warp players away without their consense. Unfortunatelly I don't have a screenshot because I did not see what happened.

I hope someone can explain to me. Thank you!

Sheltering Blissed onto a warp portal? But that shouldn't DC you. Strange, unless a GM did it.

I don't think a GM did it, I would have at least a line or two in my chat from the GM telling me a reason. I'm pretty sure it was abuse of game mechanics, too bad I can't prove it :thumb:

I had something similar happen to me once, in about the same amount of AFK time. I think it's players just playing unfairly and taking the ant egg spawn for themselves by using skills to throw anyone who looks AFK into a portal or something. :thumb:
I've never DC'd when people have done that to me. Could have been some small issue that caused the DC.

I agree that the disconnection was probably unrelated.

This is one of the reasons I rarely AFK level my Homunculus anymore. No matter where I go, I find someone is always willing to harrass me just on the fact that I'm am Alchemist class. Doesn't matter how remote the map, how mundane the mob... It always happens and it's rare to see anything done about it, even if you're able to offer screen shots.

If you or your homun are lagging when you go into that portal, odds are your client sends a few packets trying to perform actions using the homun's old ID. The server sees it as you attempting to control some monster that you don't have rights to control and it boots you.

If you're going to AFK level, Ant Hell isn't the place to do it. Way too contested over and when you're taking all the eggs while not even being there, it's not really fair to the other new players that actually need to kill them for an Eden quest.

Chats get cancelled out once you move to another map. The warper would simply need to move you to another map via methods like Sheltering Bliss or Manhole and then warp you after your chat gets closed.

Also, AFKemists have no right to complain. They're AFK.

It also happens to me when I'm not AFK at all. They just go after the competition. No PMs to check if someone's AFK or not, just straight up moving the competition.
Like Kitten said, it doesn't matter if you're AFK or not, if you're an Alchemist with a homunculus out, you're going to get harassed.

The DC issue has been happening a lot more lately even with no lag. It even happens if bwing back to your save point while your homunculus is attacking.

That said I just harass the harassers right back... my 2nd genetic was leveling my low level blob ( like 20 ) in anthell at one of the out of the way spawns and a AB buff slave with a nublet mage started KSing my homunculus, after politely asking them not to ( there was a group of eggs spawning far enough away that they wouldn't KS my homunculus with the fireball AoE ) I said if thats the way you want it.... and proceeded to cart cannon the eggs faster than the mage could fireball.... they left shortly after. :thumb:

If they don't want to share then I wont, it's not like my slow low level blob was even killing eggs fast, they could have easily just cast low level bolts and killed them one by one without interrupting MY game play.
