Hello all!

Just 99'ed my Alchemist (<3) and am wondering right now wether or not I should trans?

I have NO intention to go out to MVP!!
I might not WoE eiher (-_-ty timezone I live -.-")

So all I will do is lvl that cute Genetic to 150 via Turn In Parties :--)
I plan on mainly to use him to Pot Stuff (Large SP/HP, Vita500, Food)

So, you think I should trans and go for Genetic than or just go for Genetic and drop the Creator?

PS: I know I'll miss the 30% HP/SP but well...

FCP, acid bomb, hp bonus, more skill points, etc etc etc

Bonus stats to Pot more and 20 extra 2nd class skill points.

Not to mention special pharmacy's formula factors in your level of FCP, plus more stats (Special Pharmacy uses int, dex/2, and luk) so you're not wasting all the ingredients and getting the minimum return.

I would think it's wise to always trans, because you get so many bonuses that you can carry -- no matter what class you are.

The effort of getting lvl 1-99 trans is nothing compared to lvling a gene 100-150. Not even 1/10th. Losing so many skills/stats for such minimal effort is a huge waste.

For brewer, "Full Chemical Protection" [FCP] is included on the Special Pharmacy formula, adding something like 5~10% chance to make the maximum product.

I had not transcended mine for a personal reason [omg it's sick to level alchemist on first run, and even worse to level on second, when you will be using a 8x homunculus who aids you and GIVES YOU ONLY BASE EXP D:]. Who levels a vend slave so far? haha Well, now I need to put her on level 100 to make mora quests D:

As people have mentioned, FCP is useful Special pharmacy. Extra stats if your making pots ect. not to mention the extra HP / SP.

I made my second alchemist ( brewer ) a genetic during one of the ID3 events when renewal was still nice and new just for item change and such.... recently reset to level it and holy crap does damage suck even more without the extra 100 stat points from rebirth. It's practically useless right now, not enough DEX not enough VIT not enough INT no where near enough STR, can't even one shot a kobold archer reliably without +20 STR foods( at CC 5 WITH cart boost + remodeling both maxed) and eden buffs with a +7 triple bloody blue twin edge and iron cannon balls, has only 10K HP at 103 with armor of ares AND +0 variants..... it's totally worth it to go trans unless you just want the kawaii vend slave.

I can't really think of a word to describe a genetic missing 25% hp/sp, 52 stat points, 20 skill points (including FCP which influences special pharmacy) other than "fail". Its just 1-2 more days of leveling (or a few hours if you're pro); suck it up.

Trans as ANYTHING is mandatory unless you're using that character as some sort of slave, in which case it's not so bad (for example, a gloomy slave or something like that).

Sorry to put this so bluntly... But if you can't make the effort to trans then you will NEVER make it to 150, not to mention how much harder it is to level with the already mentioned benefits. Every little thing counts towards your character!
