If I click somewhere, it may or may not move me there, especially if I just clicked to move elsewhere.
Clicking to attack a monster generally makes my character sit still for a second, then start walking toward the monster...now the monster has moved a bit, so I'm moving to it's old location and now the character will move to it's new location. Finally I catch up to the monster and start attacking it. If I decide to run away from it or use skills, I have to click VERY MANY times to finally get a response from the game.
No FPS lag at all though, constantly 60 FPS.
I live in Indiana and I play multiple games that have servers in California, but none of these games have any lag whatsoever, everything runs smoothly.
I'm not sure where RO's servers are hosted, but surely can't be out of the US?
The game is absolutely unplayable with these delays.
The fact it takes 5 to 10 seconds to walk up and kill a monster that I can one-shot is just terrible. You can only imagine high level play where good positioning and quick reactions are needed.
I'm using a wired connection, not Wireless. I've tried closing every little thing to assist in lag reduction, with no positive results.
I really hope someone can help resolve this.
