I heard someone saying Nid Shadow Garbs will be like the new Muffler [1] in comparison to the Mora sets.
However I don't see it. Yeah you can enchant each equip piece with up to +3 a stat, but how does that compare to say, the 7% elemental resistance the nidd offers?
Enlighten me on the subject please.

Mora equip sets' potential are revealed once you complete the set:

http://ro.doddlercon...pdate_Equipment

From that, these are the best ones imo:
GX complete Sabbath Set: +40% critical damage
RK complete Urj Set: +50% Hundred Spear damage
Ranger complete White Wing Set: +2 ASPD

Those effects alone easily top over MvP cards such as Doppleganger, Turtle General or Samurai Specter.

Thanks for the link.
I can understand the hype about the GX and RK sets considering those bonuses. The AB one doesn't excite me, unless I were Adoramus build for judgement set. I only see the wand being useful for the enchant potential. Also the shoes for the +10% demihuman resistance, which does beat kvm glorious shoes resistance of 4%, but those ones also give max hp +10%...

Considering the Manteaus are not slotted, I don't see them beating a Raydric Carded anything.

The Mora sets pretty much make GX and RKs more like glass cannons. If GXes can drop anyone with ctrl+click in 3-4 seconds, they can do so with 2-3 seconds now with these Mora sets.

The complete mora set is quite different from MVP gear. Having the whole set does give you nifty effects but you'd be awefully squishy. It's awesome if you have a proper party supporting you, but the last time I checked this game was all about soloing and large parties with no cohesion.

Ps. nid garbs are over rated

They are but nids take the top spot for being over rated for how good people think it is.

In your opinion is diab manteau > nid garb?
What would you suggest for an AB over nidd garb? :0

What would you use in place of one? Nyd garb is arguably the best garment in game right now.

Depends on what you're up against and what class you're playing and what other gears you have access to. Trying to figure out what is the absolute best based on small marginal differences is a waste of time and is counter productive as it just makes you lazy when gearing your character.

Don't want this thread to turn into some bs which piece of gear is the best thread, pretty sure most people can figure out what's better for what they do in the situations they're in.

For woe on my rk I default to an asprika or a Valk mant. Switching to a nid if I need elemental resist but never as default. For pvm it depends on the map.

It's really only good for the hundred bonus. Definitely better than the Eden crap some people are still sporting at lvl 130+ though.

Throw a raydric into the garb and it's loads better than an asprika in WoE. Asprika doesn't reduce magic damage and a bunch of skills. Valk mant has it's uses if you are trying to reflect damage back, but it isn't even an option for the classes it gives pdodge too.

Urj has Ghost resistance of 5%. Does that mean I'll take 5% less damage against people wearing Ghostring armor? :thumb:

If that's the case, that's actually a pretty armor armor.

A raydric in a nid works marginally better for scrubs that hit with neutral attacks but its vastly inferior against people that know what they're doing. But then again maybe I'm just full of sh!t and don't know how any better.

Not saying nids suck just pointing out the fact that it's highly over rated by people. If it was the be all end all of garments like some people think it is, I'd actually default to it.

Yah... Those are good but not good enough for WoE... unless you are willing to get frozen as soon as you get into a Maestro/Wl screen...
