the Artifact researcher doesn't take 100k zeny like it says so, please fix this. it only takes mora coins in enchanting.

the npc says 100k zeny "OR" 1 mora coin. NOT 100k zeny "AND 1 mora coin

Just a tip for everyone else in here: Never go for the 3rd enchantment.

@Pril: How can you say it's a typo, just because the gear is too good? In that case turning in 2k KVM badges for a weapon should cost and 1b zeny. What evidence do you have?

Pro tip: Only go for the 3rd enchantment if your 1st and 2nd enchantments are crap and you're feeling lucky. If you get a crappy stat (e.g. +1 stats, Evasion mods, +3 def/mdef), don't forget to use the 3rd option from the Artifact Researcher to get rid of all mods the item currently has.

Hmm idk why you are scared of going 3rd enchantment I generally get it atleast on the 3rd or 4th try which isn't bad I have third on all my heard accept accessory only can go to 2 enchantments.

I broke a couple of White wing and Sabbath pieces that had very awesome 1st and 2nd mods trying to go for 3rd. It can be disheartening sometimes. Just play it safe if you don't like risking good gear.

I heard it's about 75% for the 2nd enchantment and about a 50-50 shot on the 3rd one with a chance that you lose all enchantments instead of breaking it.

Yea, it's a mistranslation. It's supposed to be SABBATH set. I prefer calling it that way because I like Black Sabbath!

I had a post about this a week or so ago, its a darn typo, it uses both 1 coin and 100k zeny per enchantment.
It quite worth the risk do go for the 3rd enchantment, even better the lady will remove the enchants if you feel the 1st one is crappy, remove it and restart. I will probably be doing this for the following weeks until I get the stats I would like ti have in it. I would have wanted the unknown item to be updated with this maintenance though, and perhaps a full list of what can be enchanted would be cool too. I will try to dig through kro update logs when I get the time again, but there is already a small list made on irowiki of what someone added.

hmm, the way it's worded on wiki, for the 2nd enchantment, it will never break, but failure just removes enchantment like when u pick "tell me about enchant"?
