One hour before the January 3rd maintenance I started doing the "Find the Research Tools" quest in Mora, went through steps 1 to 4 on this guide: http://irowiki.org/w..._Research_Tools, the quest NPC gave me a Mora Coin as a reward, then maintenance was about to occur at like 2am, so I logged out.

Approximately ten hours later I logged back in and my Mora Coin had disappeared from my inventory and the quest info on my Quest List was gone. I talked to the quest NPC again and the only thing he says is this:
"Wow!! You found the research tools...?, etc...etc...etc...etc...why don't you take this and go to the inn and rest up? There's nothing for you to do right now".

Almost two days had passed and he keeps saying the same thing every time I talk to him, he doesn't give me anything and nothing appears on my quest list, the Mora Coin (which disappeared from my inventory) is not in my Kafra Storage either. With all this I'm not able to continue with the quest.

By the way, I heard that after maintenance Mora had to be reset again at 3am for some reason, could this be the cause my quest is bugged?

I'm on Valkyrie Server.

You may have lost the mora coin, but you're in the correct position with the quest.

After that step, you need to talk to the researcher a bunch of times before you get assigned the next task (it's random, feels like about a 10% chance of him giving you the quest each time you talk to him).

Well, you can be sure I already talk to the researcher a bunch of times, but yet nothing has happened.
Also, even If I manage to continue with my quest, what happened with the Mora Coin I used to have? It just vanished, is there any way I could get it back?

I guess I'll go and try to open a ticket, see if I can fix my problem that way.

It happens to me too...but i kept spamming him and then i got the quest~ xD

Hmm, I don't know if mine is bug or I'm doing it wrong, I am stuck at step 12 going to 13. I have finish doing step 12 twice but I never get step 13. Is it just me or .. something else? Can anyone help?

There is a HIGH chance that you'll be sent to do step 12 again (and wait again). It's part of the quest. At least you get an extra mora coin each time. I got it on... First time 1x, second time 1x, third time 1x, fifth time 1x, out of 4 chars.

Oh, okay thanks. Now it's my third time getting the tooth sample. D:
