1. Does enabling voodoo3 user have any effect on in-game performance if I use Nvidia video card?

2. What's the difference of 16/32/48 sound channel, which is better?

3. I already turn off fog effect at setup, but why is everytime I log in the fog effect is always on. Then I press alt+y, turn off fog, but if I exit windows and open a new client the fog effect always come back on

4. I'm using widescreen monitor (Dimensions: (W)16.14 (D)11.96 (H)1.77). I can play ragnarok full-screen and see in-game environment in one screen clearly. The problem is the sprite of characters/monsters whose position is around the furthest right and left of my screen is missing. Therefore I have to move my character in order to catch the sprite until it shows. Anyway to solve this?

Wish anyone can help me enhance my gameplay, thx.

***Thanks Drazzy for the explanation***

Do not enable this option unless you use a VooDoo 3 card (which hasn't been made for eons)
2. What's the difference of 16/32/48 sound channel, which is better?
It's how many sound channels are used. More should improve sound playback when many sounds are playing. I don't think this one matters in practice.
3. I already turn off fog effect at setup, but why is everytime I log in the fog effect is always on. Then I press alt+y, turn off fog, but if I exit windows and open a new client the fog effect always come back on
Sounds like a bug, there is a known issue since the costume system update that causes the client to have difficulty saving some settings. I'm not sure why the client isn't listening to the settings saved by the RO setup program. You are running setup as admin, right? (if you're on windows 7 / vista - on earlier windows's this isn't needed)
You can only see monsters, npcs, and portals that are within 15 cells of your charachter. Beyond that range, the data is not sent to the client; so what you are seeing is correct behavior. With some effort, you can see this effect on any resolution, but with widescreen resolutions, it is more visible. You can resolve it by choosing a non-widescreen resolution and playing in windowed mode. Most players report that RO generally runs better in windowed mode. I only know one person who plays full screen - most people like windowed mode because it's easier to switch between RO and iWiki and your IM clients and ventrilo, and such. Use RO Mouse Freedom - google it - if you want to be able to move mouse outside of RO window in windowed mode.
Wish anyone can help me enhance my gameplay, thx.
