Mini Challenge #13
Haiku Time!
- Rules -
The host (currently, me) gives you a topic of interest to get you going.
You may enter up to a maximum of three competition images/screenshots.
The host chooses the winner after the challenge closes. The decision of the judge (the host) is final. The judge is not eligible.
The winner then chooses the next topic, runs the challenge, judges the winner, and passes on the baton to that person. (Kind of like pass the parcel)
- Summary -
For this challenge, your goal is to visualize your very own Haiku. So start thinking of a haiku and try to make fitting images to show it to us! You're totally free regarding the presentation of your haiku. If you have absolutely no idea what a Haiku is, you can use this link to find out.
- Conditions -
You are allowed to use any program to present your haiku. Photoshop is certainly allowed and you're even free to make a video (so Adobe Final Cut or Elements is allowed as well). If you're planning on making a video, please keep it under a minute. Comics are allowed as well. Pictures or Video's have to be ROSE related.
- Prizes -
The winner will receive 300 Item Mall points worth of prizes, provided by Gravity Interactive and handled by Community Manager Zeppelin.
You will only receive these 300 Item Mall points worth of prizes, after you have posted the next Mini Challenge.
To claim your prize, simply send a Private Message to Zeppelin linking him to your new Mini Challenge and providing a list of Item Mall items you'd like, up to 300 points in value.
Be sure to include the "SERVER" and "CHARACTER" name that the items will be sent to.
If you submit a photo, please check in when the winners are posted. The first place winner is expected to host the next challenge. If the first place person cannot host, it moves to the 2nd place, etc.
- Posting Guidelines -
Images posted should ideally be 800 x 600 in size for viewing purposes. I'm going to be more strict about this then anyone has been thusfar. If you upload a screenshot that doesn't fit on a 600x800 monitor I will ignore your contribution. I'm getting a bit irritated of people uploading pictures that are filling my entire screen. On a side note: If your making a comic, the width of the image has to be 800 but the length may be longer then 600 of course.
Pictures or video's made on your own private server are not allowed.
Participants should not feel restricted they have to make the best picture, but can be as creative as you feel necessary.
Therefore I will choose whichever has one of the most creative entry.
+Votes may also be taken into account but it won't determine the winner.
