Okay, I'm not sure if anyone else has been experiencing this, but it seems that when I'm wearing certain equips, my weapon will just randomly de-equip itself. The times I've noticed this happening is when I'm wearing any type of equip that autocasts an elemental endow on your character. It doesn't seem to happen with the headgears that cast mild wind though. Either way, it's really annoying and I'm wondering if there isn't something that can be done about it. It was happening with the Gryphon Hat, and the Seismic Fist, but those are the only ones I've been able to check so far. I don't have access to any of the other "endow" type gears right now to further test.

Endow has a change of failing if it isn't level 5. When it fails, it unequips the weapon.

Knew there had to be a reason for what was happening. Seriously though, they need to make some changes if it's going to be coming from a hat. It's one thing to get it from a sage because you can know whether you're going to need to re-equip or not, and you're usually not in the middle of fighting.

Pretty much the only thing you can do is to only equip the headgear when you're nearing the end of the current endow, and then taking it off once the endow succeeds.

Luckily the four endow fists cast level 5, so they can't fail.

Or use one of the Zodiac endow hats, which cast mild wind, which can't unequip weapon.

For the hats that cast endow and can unequip the weapon, that's sorta the price you pay for a hat that makes your weapon elemental :-P (in the case of the zodiac hats, the price you pay is with zeny)
