Edit: Meaning to say, you get the "fixed" damage no matter what. The Angeling only covers the "continuous" holy damage you receive when GC is already casted.

On a semi-related note, my understanding is GC is both atk and matk damage from players but how about monsters? they sometimes have simplified damage formulas and i was wondering if a MVP's grandcross/darkcross gets a full reduction from asprika, half reduction (i.e. only reduces physical portion, not magic if it exists) or does no reduction and GC/DC are some special damage type from mobs.
Was thinking around this since RG's can get 100% dark/holy resist vs physical at least *IF* grand/dark cross skills are fully physical from MVP's. Looking at bishop mainly.

yup, and its always worked like that ever since crusaders have existed.

As far as I know matk on monsters is based on they own atk... That's why MVPs hurt with their skills xD
