Hello. Does anyone knows how to delete a game account?

EDIT: For the record, I am not quitting the game. I just wanted to do a cleanup on my warpportal account and remove any unused RO accounts. I sometimes gets confused which game account I use whenever I want to purchase WP points.

I sent a ticket a year ago with that request.
They said they cannot perform the task, and reqires me to just leave the account alone.

Just keep it. If you're quitting the game for a stupid reason, it's highly likely you'll come back anyway.

If you're quitting the game for a stupid reason,

I have here written down a dialogue between a customer and a manager- if iRO was a hotel. Please enjoy:

Customer: "Hello I'd like to check out of my hotel room please".

Hotel Manager: "Ah yes, unfortunately you may choose to leave the room and hotel, but you cannot check out."

Customer: "Why can't I check out? Just delete my name off your list!"

Hotel Manager: "We cannot do that sir, you will just have to leave. If you choose to come back your room will be untouched and should you choose to get VIP service it will be provided."

Customer: "That is outrageous! I have rights, you can't detain me like this! Remove me from your records this instant!"

Hotel Manger: "Sir I assure you we won't do anything with your information. However if your credit card does anything funny we will lock down your room and you cannot access it until we have spent some time investigating the cause."

Customer: "What?? That makes no sense! What kind of hotel is this?? I should be able to cancel my residency at any time!"

Hotel Manager: "I can confirm you that this is working as intended, I will now ask you to leave and thank you for continuing to use our services."

Customer: "I'M NOT EVEN USING THEM ANYMORE I WANT TO STOP USING YOUR SERVICES WHAT IN THE FUCK IS WITH YOU PEOPLE"

Errr... I am not going to quit the game. Just cleaning up my warpportal account by deleting unused RO game account.

And... besides if I know how to create a game account I should also know how to delete one, right? That seems fair.

I have been thinking whether suspending an RO game account the is same as deleting one. Like in the future when I am not happy with the username/game account name that I used I can overwrite the suspended account with a new one.

It's like making babies. They teach you the whole process (videos included) to make babies, but they don't want to teach you how to un-make them. so unfair >.>

It creates holes in the database to delete accounts. That's messy, and may cause issues.

Just change the password to something you're not aware of after changing the email linked to the account (If you can, to avoid coming back)

Just buy zenny in game and get yourself banned, that's how you stop yourself from coming back.

Good idea, but, won't that just "ban" your ragnarok account? Not the whole Warp Portal one?

Ok I purposefully made a suggestion that was unhelpful and you ran with it. The person 1. isn't trying to quit RO, just delete unused accounts 2. Isn't trying to delete their warp portal account.

Does anyone ever read the original post, because I've been here a while now and half the time, judging by follow up posts, people don't read the original post. Most people skip every post including the first one, and form an answer based on the title.

I actually have read everything here. There is so much topic in this forum that I read and ofcourse, I won't even remember the TS's first post.
Otherwise being into my point, every other next post becomes misleading.

For your information, The account is not deleted when you are banned. It stays there, given an amount of time of when will the ban gets lifted.
Whereas, a permanent ban goes for xxxx years which as an example 2044 isn't livable.
I will stress again that the account "stays" it is not deleted, it remains in the account.

Sorry for misunderstanding "Game Account" and "Warpportal Account" , it rings the same.
