Hi so i have 2 mages currently my 211 mage is for farming and wears legendary ap eq has all aoes and the basic buffs for soloing.
my 2nd mage is 160and only has noob aoe's and mage air aoes rest is into ice and i will be useing this one for pvp

my question is are those skill paths opyimal for the jobs i have choosen for them and what would be the optimum stat point allocation for pvp and pve??

I can't comment on your lvl 211 mage having self buffs since i use IM cleric buffs for m-spd, def and acc(Not unless thats what you meant), Aoes alone i'd say is good enough for farming not unless you're gonna kill kings. On your 160 Mage if your going pvp only you wont need any fire skills (except for hellfire and that other burn w/ def down) so what your going for is good. Stat wise id say 200 con will do 350-370 ish Int 150-200 str For PvM for pvp abit higher on the con (depends on the gears you have to get the exact acc you need) the same for int and str and abit of sen also around 40-60 ish.

cheers im thinking chiv set for pvp mage and will stick with the leg ap gear for the pve also runs on t7s while py pvp mage runs on d7s and staragate?? 7s ap/acc

SA7 is better for mage than D7, cuz mages usually lack acc.
And Chiv is good yeah but you still should get Glori for buffset(Dodge and Acc).
