Just a quick question about them

Do they really increase your attack by 2%? because i see the difference with Matk and the added dex but no difference in attack at all when i put them on or have them off.

Don't flame me if this is a stupid question.

All effects that say "+% atk" actually mean "increase physical damage by x%" - this works like a +20% vs race/element card.

Hence, it doesn't display in the stat window. Always been this way, and is intended behavior.

I just wish they wouldn't say "+% atk" when that's not what they mean.

If you want to see a difference, you need to equip a high attack power weapon and be under the effect of power maximize.

just the smith.

IMO, just take it on faith. The +% atk works. It doesn't add quite as much as you'd expect - I think it's like % weapon damage cards, and only effects damage added by weapon attack. But it does work, and it does add a hair of damage.
