With renewal, first job quests should have been removed, and the NPCs give you a class specific gear, like a novice sword, novice dagger, novice rod, or novice bow. Right now you are still being required to do the job change quest.

This is a problem, the swordsman job change quest map was re-used for the sura job change, which is all kinds of problematic. The swordsman job change NPCs and sura NPCs are stacking. Probably need to research what kRO did to the 1st job changes.

I would also like to note, that I'm having trouble making it back to turn to thief, Familiars do about 87 to me wearing the default gears, on an hp of 65.

Ok, we will have to see why they had them as active. I don't know on the familiars yet.

I can confirm that the familiars are angry on kRO right now, which makes it kind of unfair to job change thief but doesn't appear to be a bug. Perhaps some form of assistance could be made to get novices to b1 of the pyramids though?

Yeah, I was expecting to change into Thief right there in the training grounds, but here I am collecting mushrooms yet again.

In addition, the quest journal includes the thief change quest so this perplexes me even more.

There seems to be a first class job change npc in South Prontera. You can bypass the tests there. It's the mage one next to the Valkyrie.

I'm used to them putting all the NPCs around the Prontera fountain for convenience. Didn't realize they placed them all along the north/south road. I'm still waiting for them to implement the NPC that gives out 10 million zeny to everyone because I can't test any equips unless I NPC a lot of items first.

Yeah, same. The prices of the basic gears at the npcs just seems odd to me. I can buy a violet fear for 20z, yet I can't afford a katana.

Anything you can't normally buy from a store has a price of 20. On a regular server, if you tried to NPC that violet fear, you would notice that it sells for 10, so it's technically the same there.

Yeah, I NPC'd the items I picked up in the training grounds and got about 340z after I sold them. So pretty much all I had equipped was three items because that's all I could buy :/
