Training Grounds Bugs and Errors

pman (in quest window) is not the same as Ffman (NPC). Why doesn't this teleport NPC have a name anyways? Call him Bob for simplicity's sake.
I've killed at least 10 Pickys, but the quest window isn't logging any of them at all (Swordsman quest). Also would be preferable if the quests were renamed based on which NPC gave them out (i.e. Battle Basics (Thief), Battle Basics (Swordsman), Battle Basics (Mage), Battle Basics (Acolyte), etc.). Just to note, the Swordsman NPC does not appear on the map with Willows.
In addition, many of the NPCs talk like Asian tourists so it would be REALLY nice if someone went through the training grounds and correct their Engrish and grammatical errors.

I'd prefer it if the NPC's teleport menu wasFfman could use a bit of a makeover too I think. Both of his options 'I do want to fight strong monsters' and 'I want more of a challenge' are completely ambiguous, and are even more confusing when you are on the hard maps and need to use one of those options to return to an easier map.
Level 1 Training Grounds
Level 2 Training Grounds
Level 3 Training Grounds
with Level 3 having the strongest monsters. And then that way players can return to the Level 2 and Level 1 maps more easily.

- The illustration that explains how to view quests instructs you to "click alt + U" to open the quest window, when it should say "press alt + U".
- When explaining how to use features that require interaction with windows, the NPCs should state how to put windows into the correct state if they're not already. For example, the first Brade NPC stated that I could track my total experience points using the gauges on the "Basic Info" window. However, I'd already collapsed that window before talking with the NPC.
- The item novice adventurer's suit [1] can't be dropped.
- The west room in the first indoor area (new_1-2) contains an area of disabled cells.
The thief manual doesn't boost your flee despite the thief NPC stating it will when you choose to do his quest. The thief NPC states that you must bring him 5 tree root to complete his quest, but the actual objective is to kill 5 willows. The thief NPC doesn't tell you where you can find willows to complete his quest.- The levels of the bolt skills bestowed by the mage manual are too low. You can inflict significantly more damage using a novice cutter with only 1 strength than you can using the bolt skills.
I'm unsure whether the following things are intended or not:
- The acolyte NPC doesn't offer a quest.
- The archer NPC doesn't offer a quest.

My mage manual was supposed to give me firebolt but I never saw it. The merchant quest supposedly gave me overcharge and discount as well. But I don't see that anywhere.
You have to view the skill window in list mode to see skills bestowed by equipment. To change the view mode, click the button at the top-right of the skill window labelled with a minus sign.

Yeah, I read Mwrips post. I felt very silly for not having seen that. I really wish Gravity wouldn't do that. You have to view the skill window in list mode to see skills bestowed by equipment. To change the view mode, click the button at the top-right of the skill window labelled with a minus sign.

Also need to fix the Swordsman quest to accept all Pickys, not just the ones without the eggshell hat. If not, change the training ground spawn to have the non-eggshell Pickys as well.
"Intstructor Brade" should be "Instructor Brade".
Better version of this dialogue would be: "Sigh... I'm a rough speaker. I just can't get used to being polite, you know? Don't look at me like that!"
Novice Potion, Free Ticket for Kafra Storage, and Free Ticket for Kafra Transportation should all be made character-bound, other wise they'll be botted to high hell on Valkyrie. Also need to add Free Ticket for Airship for newbies and make those character-bound as well.

Same goes for red/green cookies, goblins, etc.

It would be REALLY helpful if the quest said which level the monster can be found on as well, since it took me a while to find the willows too.

There's 5 levels in the novice battle grounds? I always thought there was 3.Well I checked all 5 novice ground levels (unless theres more) and didnt find any pickies without hats.
It would be REALLY helpful if the quest said which level the monster can be found on as well, since it took me a while to find the willows too.
The teleport NPC should just list all the levels of the training grounds and have the quest NPC specify which ones have which monsters.

I'd like to see Free Ticket for Airship, but I don't think they need to be character bound. I often give new players free tickets for storage, transportation, flyship, etc. instead of actual zeny when people ask for help.

Play Dead is a wonderful skill that allows newbies to avoid getting killed by random aggro monsters, especially for those making Super Novices.
